I either cracked a rib or my cartlidge separated from rib. Waiting on x ray confirmation.

Trouble breathing and lacing up my shoes even.

Pretty bad bros.

Gonna be running some bpc 157 and adding azteca hgh at night to my protocol.

Also collagen protein powder, since I suspect cartlidge and not a break.

From what I can tell if I can get back on the mats in 4 weeks that would be amazing even if just lightly drilling.

Recovery time 3 - 6 months since rib area is complicated and slow to heal due to lack of blood flow.

I don't think I will be able to lift for a week minimum, just based on the fact I can't press out my abdomen at all right now. Breathing hurts for goodness sakes.

Pain scale 1 - 10

Probably a 8. Worse is just that there is no position I feel comfortable in.

I'm in constant discomfort.

Time to heal!

So tonight to start dosing

1mg 750mg bpc 157
And 2iu hgh

2 scoops collagen protein in some Greek yogurt 1 and 3 collagen

Also dosing a collagen supplement 1 and 3

You are in good spirits considering the injury...that's awesome!

That's a big dose for 1 injection. Friendly suggestion is to break up whatever your daily dosage ends up to be in at least 2 injections spaced apart. I have no scientific evidence that frequency matters, but have switched to this with my clients and my wife who had her 2 hips done from marathons. I think the more frequent injections may be better for the simple reason that you can hit the area from multiple directions instead of just 1. Just speculation on my end.

Morning is a 250, night 750 for 4 days. After that dropping 250 to 500 then 250 250

Bpc has a 6 hour half life I think so iideally 3 injections a day would be best but not possible for me. 2 should be fine I think. With hgh.

Injuries are just time when you exercise your mind!

Yup! That's why I do 3x per day, but I'm sure the way you're doing it is just fine. You obviously did your research. :)

I'm hoping I can do super light cardio by Friday or Saturday. Today I learned that you basically can't do anything when your ribs hurt lol

rib shit sucks man. got all primal ripping a tv mount off a wall and boinnng cracked rib. couldnt' drive for a week cause every minor bump would make me seize up in pain. get some relaxers if you can

Yep driving sucks!

feeling better.

2iu gh
250mg bpc this morning

was able to get 30 minutes of stairmaster in. last 10 were pretty brutal but stuck it out. need to get warmed up and let bloodflow in the area.

i did a little arm workout, and I just about tried all of my lifts very lightly just to see what the extent of damage is.

it seems like very very lightly I can do most things.

But it seems like almost anything back related is out. lat pulldowns, machine pulls downs, t bar rows all impossible really even with just the bar currently. need to heal a bit more.

tricep cable extensions was somewhat bearable. very uncomfortable but I was able to do some decent reps.

If i put too much weight on any of them it hurts for sure, but If I can squeeze out some decent highrep light weight stuff i might make it outta this with my sanity.

750 bpc last night
2iu gh at night

this morning 2iu gh
250 bpc
1 collagen supp
joint support
omega 3

the extra gh bloated me a little and getting the prickling in the fingers toes.

2 days later I can really pinpoint the location of the injury and I think its in a much more favorable area then I thought.
The doc suspected cartilage separation but based on where I feel it feels more musculature. Like the muscle strained off the bone a tad.
Regardless its a fairly long area that hurts. About 1 inch thats very sensitive but it stretches 2 inches in both directions. So about 5 inches of pain area which i feel is pretty large. Its such a strange feeling to have pain on the underside of the ribcage and the outer portion. Sends mixed signals of pains at times.

This morning was able to do 40 minutes of stair master at 5 speed.

tried a few different weight machines. surprisingly I can do everything just about as long as I dont push out on my diaphragm, and go nice and easy and slow.

db rows and that kinda stuff is just out of the question still. Leg press and squats seem okay surprisingly.

healing wise I feel so much better today and its obvious the bpc hgh is doing its magic.
I should not be this comfortable after 2 days.
Doc was shocked I went to the gym and advised me not to, but hes not a sports doc, I need to get out and get the blood flowing to heal.
Im very careful and dont push it, and im in so much pain its not like i can push through. I can only do what I can do.
I feel like this is gonna be a much shorter recovery then I had even imagined.

Can you share the collagen protein and joint support you are using? I'm running a BPC-157, TB-500 and a type 2 collagen supp right now, but any recommendations on brand will be appreciated.

same regimen continued.

hgh finally kicked in sleep. slept super well last night.

2iu before bed plus 750 bpc. tonight just 500 and did my 250 dose this morning.

Gym again 30 min stair master.

holy hell flat bench press is completely out of the question, cant even get the bar off the rack.
Was suprised to be in that much pain in that position, but boy have I healed tremendously.

cable tricep pulldowns were excruciating thursday. I was able to complete a set with some light weight fairly easily. Was uncomfortable but I was able to easily pull through.

I cant wait to go to sleep now so I can just feel better in the mornings. Every morning its a huge relief to just feel somewhat better.
Getting out of the vehicle soo much easier today.

Im going out of town for one night today so may not update until monday.

alright back in the saddle. was able to continue dosing protocol traveling with my peptides in a cooler in ice.
man i was feeling okay but the hotel i stayed was too firm and did not sleep at all. feel like it set me back.

i also sneezed horribly and feel like i fucked myself up even more just from that. jesus christ.

i feel okay until i have to do something then I realize how serious this injury is.

Was able to get 45 minutes of stairmaster this morning and just avoided all weights completely. i feel good mostly but little things like coughing sneezing twisting to fast all of sudden bring the pain.

def healing but what a pain in the fucking ass.

I did skip evening GH sat and sunday since when driving I do chew, or i fall asleep, and just stayed with 2iugh fasted morning.

all in all this weekend is a toss up in terms of recovery, i was probably more active then i should have been, but it is what it is, family and life dont stop just cuz you hurt yourself.

Kid competed in a wrestling tournament and got 2nd place. Was happy to be there for him.

well damn i woke up feeling really good.
was able to do
sissy squats with 2x45 x 10 x 5
hack squats 4x45 x10 x 5
leg extensions 220 x 10 x 5

biceps

40 minutes stairmaster

I was even able to bench press the bar 1 time. holy shit i improved tremendously overnight. wild i feel like wolverine.

I was so focused on making sure I didnt use my diaphragm too much I did run out of gas mid way the workout. just felt the pump go away and completely deflate. But I think since every rep was just focused on my rib and avoiding injury it took its toll on me.

either way super impressed by the progress. im still injured but soooo much better.

I think next week ill be able to step on the bjj mat and do some of the technique and drilling no sparring.

This puts me at roughly 2 - 3 weeks ahead of schedule

You think you're feeling good now? Wait until you hit the 2-3 week mark. Full on Wolverine mode.

You have a great positive attitude. A lot of guys mind f themselves on injuries, getting all bummed out. Good on you man.

I've been keeping a positive attitude with my own recent achilles tear and Wes' Healer product been a great help so far. That's the best path to take when dealing with major injury or illness.

Ribs require babying and not pushing it like one might another injury/healing.
They really, really hurt. I looked like a statue while mine healed.

oh yea its still pretty bad. im being ultra careful. I mean its so painful there are things i just literally cant do. so I can only do what I can do if that makes sense.

did you heal up with bpc ? this shit is magic.

bpc is magic.

I was able to do almost a complete shoulder workout. Lighter weight but more reps.
The only movement i was not comfortable doing was compound shoulder press. I was able to press the bar 10x but idk just didnt feel like I should be pushing it so soon.

db shoulder press
db seated side lat raises
db machine shoudler press
rear delt fly machine

finished off with a few sets of forearms nyas nyas
forearm rope roller
idk what its called but I take 2 dbs pick them up palm down up to my chest, rotate wrist and bring back down. mad forearm burn.

40 minutes of stairmaster

felt like a legit workout

Still have some pain, and still definitely injured, bjj is still out of the question.

Im not sure how im gonna fare on bench since that position is pretty much the most uncomfortable of them all, but im gonna give it a go on friday.

tomorrow im gonna do back.
ill probably have to modify some of the things I do but I think ill be able to get through it with light weights.

funny conversation I had withsomeon at my kids wrestling tournament.

he didnt know i was injured, but he told me he used to wrestle at 170, but enjoyed wrestling at 185 more. He said when he would lean out that much to 170 he would get a lot of rib injuries. At 185 he was pretty much injury free.

Im at my leanest Ive ever been! somewhere between 15- 16% right now. my ribcage in particular feels like theres no fat there at all. jjust bones.
wondering if this contributed to my injury since it was in a rather risk free position.

either way, just some food for thought.

update:

feeling alot better. all the bony area/muscle has repaired fully. it seems like the cartilidge is gonna be more tricky.
feels like I still have someones knee on my lower sternum. just very tight pressure type of feeling.

It is much better however and with some lift adjusments im getting really good workouts.
I cant quite do any of the compounds, but with the machines and some dbs im able to get some serious burn.
Not ideal but Its fine I think since its a lot of new movements and cable exercises, I havent felt sore in a long time and Im decently sore.

Luckily I can at least do hack squats, smith sissy squats and leg extensions.
So i dont need much else. I just did like 300 reps between the 3 lol.

For back landmine rows, light deadlift in the trap bar, cable rows, lat pull downs all doable.
Shoulders I did some of mountaindogs1 recomendations and it was nasty.

Chest is probably the hardest for me right now because extending the chest out and lying flat is probably the most painful thing for me.
That kinda nixes a ton of exercises.
however luckily machine chest press was totally doable and I did something like 30 sets on it to really fatigue myself.
Threw in some pec flys, cable flys and It ended up being a decent chest workout.

all in all feeling like Im going in the right direction. able to lift, get some good tension on my muscles, while not injuring myself and being able to stay somewhat active.

the cartlidge however feels like its just healing slowly, and lack of bloodflow there is probably why.
its hard for bpc to do its thing when it cant get to the area.
although without it, who knows how far back id be behind.

either way well on the way to full recovery!

Midweek update.

Did fairly decent leg workout.
sissy squats hack squat leg press and leg extensions, and hammy curls.

i felt really good. this shit is really starting to heal up and not bother me while lifting too much.
I had skipped out leg press 4 days ago and was able to do it today fairly comfortably. loaded up 4 plates and did em nice and slow.

my knee did slip off the ham curls machine and I was quickly reminded that I am still injured :ROFLMAO:

but its very niche movements/twisting that gets me and will freeze me up with pain. Extremely localized and isolated now.

pressing up my diaphragm is mostly okay, mind you im still gonna be taking it easy for two weeks cuz who knows but im slowly adding weight to all the machines and lifts, which also seems to be helping me speed up recovery.

I also tried 10-15mg dbol pulse. I was mostly curious.

also thursday update:

Did shoulders today and basically could do everything besides compound shoulder press. felt like I got a normal workout.
I try flat bench every singleday and was able to finally unrack the bar and do a couple of reps.

very uncomfortable but manageable. doesnt feel like i should mess with it at all yet, slowly but surely improving however.
I can do dbs pretty comfortably however for chest, as long as my back stomach/chest isnt super outstretched.
I feel like one of these days im just gonna wake up 100% better.

I am 95% healed.
I can do every single lift. some with lighter weight, some adjusted, but I can do every single movement without pain.

21 days of bpc. I might go into to the BJJ gym and actually do a little light training tomorrow. If not then next thursday/friday for sure.

Nice progress you making and the bpc and tb sure is helping. It does take longer to repair cartilage and tendons but still bpc/tb has its benefits. I'm also making good progress with the same protocol myself for healing the torn Achilles which is a large tendon. I am 4 weeks in as well.

shits magic. I really pushed it this morning, wanted to see if it would fail.
theres about 3 movements that were giving me the most severe issues.

bent over db row
pullups/chinups
flat bench / flat db bench

yesterday i was able to flat db with 60s. little uncomfortable but we are at the home stretch.
bent over db row I was able to do it with about 100s' today.
meadows row was able to do it with a 45 and 25.
was able to do about 3/4 chin ups.

previously i could do absolutely ZERO of any of these.

right now my ribs a little uncomfortable from really pushing it, BUT its a good uncomfortable. Felt like i was able to work/stretch it and get some blood into it which will speed up healing even further.

Great, slow and steady as you don't want to get another injury.

well I did it. I stepped back on the jitsu mats.
everyone took it easy on me and there were some skills i couldnt do but I had a great time and got about 5 rolls in. 25 minutes of jitsu roughly with about 10 minutes of takedown sparring and I survived.

A few things hurt more then others, and I had to be VERY careful in some situations but Im good.

In the weight lifting gym im about 95% healthy.
In the grappling gym im about 80% seems like.

So close! I think 1 or 2 more weeks tops and ill be 100% in all areas.
