Cost-Effective Protein Powder?

Maybe the Alpha Prime Marine collagen or any of their other collagen products. They have another with carnitine. All the normal joint support stuff is sold out at the moment.

As far as protein:
Alpha Prime isolate is cheap. The Allmax protein is $40 for five pounds but a blend. They have two products listed now. Great company though. Those are the only two I would buy.

What other stuff would I buy to make it up to free shipping?
Core PUMP preworkout and maybe even FURY V.2, use one scoop of each.
AP $7 glutamine
Allmax carnitine at $10/bottle
Bloom Greens and superfoods.

You missed out on the AG1 greens I guess.
All those Core pre's are stupid cheap for having all the patented ingredients.

This was my order

No haha that's far too much caffeine, my anxiety would be terrible.

Just ordering up enough while it's on sale
Smart!!!
I've seen guys dry scoop out of 2-3 containers many times.
Id definitely have a heart attack in a hurry doing that!

Right! This tren already has my HR up 24/7, I'm about to drop the cycle and just up my test-e dose instead of doing the tren.

i measure the actual serving size.
I cant handle too much of the caffeine they use in these.
I can drink coffee all day but too much of a pre workout and i feel sick.

thats why I do like the pump one which is non stim, and ill sip a coffee with it on the way to the gym. perfect.
i just dont always have time to make coffee.

I don’t like stims but in prep this year I have gotten used to them.
So to compromise, I use one each scoop of PUMP and FURY since a “suggested serving” is two scoops anyway.
The amount of beneficial ingredients is amazing in these products. And, mostly patented versions of them.

Your suggestion is how I plan to try this pre-workout, I appreciate the help.

Hey brother, great suggestion with the PUMP/FURY combo, I received my order today and did the Stim/Non-Stim mix to lower the caffeine load, I've never felt better before a workout. The caffeine they use in their products is top tier.

I was shocked to take a non-stim pre that I could actually feel in the gym.. PUMP just makes it seem like I have more energy and quicker recovery between sets.
I didn’t use any stim shit before last year’s pre, but the coach had me on yohimbine and caffeine so I just added in FURY.

I have to give Paul Callahan at Bullfrog Nutrition in Ohio the credit for turning me on to Core Nutritionals. He is a supplement geek like I once was and told me about their testing, manufacturing and use of patented ingedients.
I wanted my clients to use their stuff so I asked for a code.
I just wish their stuff wasn’t so expensive, so the code helps.

But this deal at supplement hunt is insane. I am glad some of you guys who like their stuff took advantage.
I wonder how much of the PUDDN alone went to ASF guys?

And for those who still think I get some sort of compensation for my code being used, why then would I send people to another place to pay $15 for something that is $50 on the brand’s website?
Like I said before, sharing the supplementhunt site has shortened my supply because everything goes away even faster. I can tell the difference from last year alone.

Sometimes people just try to do good things with no ulterior motives. But we have all become too jaded to allow considerate things into our lives.

Not exactly cost effective at $4.15 a bottle I just paid but hot damn this tastes amazing. Way better than core power ... It's a banger. Going to have to try the Strawberry and Vanilla ones as well...

I have bought all (3) flavors via Amazon so far and they were priced pretty decent for awhile. All aren’t bad and a bit thicker than Core 42, so if you don’t like thicker RTD protein shakes, then you may not like Quest. Overall, Quest makes some decent protein products to supplement with, if you’re not 100% Whole Foods everyday.

my kids love quest stuff. they love the cookies, little cakes, and chips.
they are expensive, but if they get their protein in with them so be it.
for drinks they like premier protein alot.

I bought five of each even though I already have two Aussie recipe FURY I got from Core before for $13.
I don’t need them but since I couldn’t get more PUDDN, why not?
I also bought 10 AG1.
AG1, you’re consistent with it, what benefits are there for you?

It's probably just me but I find the Core either 26 or 42g has a weird almost metallic aftertaste to me.. I love the fair life chocolate milk and would drink it daily if I could lol.. so I really don't get it

It could be your palette, how it’s being shipped, or close to expiration.

I’ve never had a taste concern with CorePower. Frankly, Chobani Yogurt 30g drinkable is GTG. My fridge is stuffed.

Look up greens, reds and mushrooms and their many benefits.
If this is the same one I have watched before, his problem isn’t with the product so much as the possible misrepresentation.
If it is yet a different video on the subject, then he is obsessed.

These aren’t my preferred brand by any means as I despise proprietary blends. But at $8 and two people in my household consuming them, I will compromise. Anything to mitigate my already riduculous supplement expenditure is welcome.

I buy 10 lb bag of optimum nutrition gold standard. Usually get it for about $115 after coupons from vitamin shop or sometimes on sale at other retailers.

Can’t go wrong with $.66/serving

Been a long time since I watched it, but his issue was more so with the character/morals of the owner as well as the contents of his supplements as far as label claims and contamination iirc.

My concern was more so I just wouldn’t support them as a company as the dude definitely is shady. Yeah I get it though, I’m sure I’m feeding pockets of crappy people on a daily basis with stuff I purchase I’m sure anyways lol.

yea thats what i was getting at, its weird to be picky and choosy about who is shady, literally the whole fitness industry is shady as fuck.
if I chose not to buy from shady people id have zero steroids, zero preworkouts, no whey, and not be able to buy food at any stores lol.

but walmart is cheaper so theres that.

yeah i look at it like an opportunity to make an informed decision though as you’re avoiding a low QC product and not supporting a crappy person.

But yeah most supp companies are shit. I buy pretty much everything I get from bulksupps, Nutricost, and microingredients though.

i wonder why its so hard to make a good product thats cost effective with no shadyness lol

Fuck it man, at this point I just buy the shit in bulk and make my performance supps myself. I get what I can health wise in bulk too. NAC powder, astragalus powder, nattokinase powder, etc.

It’s a PITA but I appreciate with bulksupps I can email them asking for COAs and they actually provide it, too. Gave me a whole tested breakdown of my EAA batch and what now.
