Oh damn lol. Thats rough! What’s your Lantus dose based on? Is there a certain number if you start going over you up the dose?
Not sure if I explained the situation well enough. I just literally was sleep deprived and late to work. I completely blanked and thought I took my daily lantus dose, but I did not. It wasn’t till the number kept rising that I knew something was wrong.
 
Seems like Compton doesn't believe lantus causes any sensitivity issues? Are you having to increase dose only as food goes up?
We bumped my dose up when starting the push and going up to 10iu gh with about 600g of carbs. That was roughly 45iu a day I believe. Didn’t touch it till now, and I’m on 1300g carbs, halfway through week 15. We only bumped to 55iu. I think I need a touch higher, but we shall see what the man says.

Lantus is prescribed to treat insulin resistant patients with diabetes and drop A1c. I personally believe used appropriately for a reasonable duration to manage glucose levels on high gh and carbs, it shouldn’t cause substantial insulin resistance. I absolutely believe it can when abused.

Obviously insulin sensitivity depends on a lot of factors. Any extended period of pushing food and gh and weight gain causes resistance over time.
 
Bumped to 60iu am and 20iu after meal 3. May go up to 60iu and 40iu if glucose is still wonky today.

I have all my training logs for the week, but I’ve just been so swamped dealing with this insulin stuff and getting in 8400 cals. Hope to update yall later today.
