CBS morning news about caffeine consumption

Where is the pre workout with that much caffeine... Most I've ever seen was 400 mg in a serving size
Also please point me to the Ghost or Reign Energy drink that has 1200mg of caffeine. I want to try it

I believe you have to ask at the counter for 3 key chains then wink with your left eye and tap your chest and give douces... Then the clerk goes behind the green door with a gargoyle on it and pulls out a can from Merlin's cauldron.... So I heard from a friend.....

I'm assuming their talking about drinking like 6 a day with 200ish mg being the average... The most I've seen in a convince store is the one C4 that has 350mg of caffeine I believe in the black cans

I've seen some with 700mg. A guy I train takes it. I believe its called Crack by Dark Labs.
I think mine technically has 615

~615 mg: 400 mg fast-acting, ~140 mg from ZümXR (extended release), ~75 mg from dicaffeine malate (smoother)

Damn that's stout for sure... Wonder if it caused nausea or extreme lightheadedness the first few times

I have 2 120mg lemonades and 1.5 200mg caffeine pills . I'm at 540 for the day . In my defense I work a very boring job and struggle to stay awake

Keep in mind that pre-workout doesnt only contain caffeine but also has many other stimulants. By the time you equate all the stims in terms of caffeine, thats probably a close guess. I'm guessing thats what they did.

View attachment 282343 These numbers are outrageous . Who's drinking that
Either someone can't read a fucking label, or they're deliberately misrepresenting the numbers to create a sensationalized narrative that energy drinks contain 1,200 mg of caffeine and pre-workouts contain 4,800 mg.

As we know those figures most likely represent the total weight of proprietary blends/ingredients, not just caffeine content. Unfortunately, there are plenty of gullible people who will believe this nonsense without exercising even the most basic critical thinking. Read the damn label before spreading misinformation.

I found the article. In their defense, they did acknowledge it was a equated amount of total stims and they did accurately reflect the actual caffeine contents. If anything, the picture is deceptive.

"The American Heart Association recommends no more than 400 mg of caffeine a day, which is about five 8-ounce cups of regular coffee. A 16-ounce can of original Monster Energy contains 160 mg of caffeine. An 8.4-ounce can of Red Bull contains 80 mg of caffeine, and a 16-ounce can of original Rock Star Energy contains 160 mg. Pre-workout powders range in caffeine content, anywhere from 0 to 400 mg for some brands."
