Can You Make a Relationship Work When Your Partner Isn’t into Fitness?

Personally, I think so. None of my partners have been into the gym, I think my reason for not hitting the gym or being less strict with my nutrition because I have a partner was a bad excuse. That won't happen again.

Yes ! My wife really does very little in the way of fitness, she eats pretty good and that’s because I do the cooking, and she doesn’t say anything about what I make. I’m pretty strict on what I eat ,so I’ll make her something more of what she likes sometimes. I get on her nerves sometimes from talking to much about what to eat, that’s about it.

Easily, they just have to be supportive. I have found that people that have partners that don’t support their fitness goals also don’t support any new hobby or goal they take up. So they are just shit partners.

literally doing that right now
wife has zero interest in fitness

Nah! Tried it once. No 🚫 fat chicks!
It’s much nicer when you have fitness and health conscious eating in common. My four longest relationships were with women who were my workout partners. Non-gym women can’t understand my obsession with bodybuilding. They always get jealous of my time spent at the gym. Plus, I like women with hot bodies! That usually takes hard work and dedication, especially after the age of 30.

Sure so far. Though I wouldn't say I'm all about fitness. My wife has an autoimmune disease (diagnosed 4 years ago) that severely limits her strength and ability to do anything physical. 6 years ago I had weight loss surgery (yep, cheated) and started losing weight, trying to eat better and get some exercise. I recently got back into going to the gym 4-6 days a week with our son (23), and my wife has been very supportive. Though she keeps buying sweets and hiding them where I can find them.

I've been married to a semi non fitness woman for 30+ years and she has on occasion gotten into working out off and on over the years but not nearly to the level of myself. She tolerates it and she is an active outdoors type. So guess I would say yeah as long as your partner puts up with your crap why not there are far worse hobbies (obsessions) to have.

Just gotta buy her cool shit!

Married 25 years and yes it was my Career that ended up growing us apart.
I refused to stop.

Mental illness. :ROFLMAO:

If you have a good woman your relationship can survive anything. It’s really hard to find the right one though. It takes a lot of patience and a ton of luck.

it will work better. this requires a degree of selfishness that both people can't have.
