Big PIP sent me to urgent care this week.

So. I've been using the same Test brand for months. I almost always experience some pain for a day or 3 after. Nothing major. A few times I haven't gotten any, I was lucky.
This weekend, I did my regular dose in my right outside thigh in the evening. Then I did some stuff around the house for a few hours and went to bed. When I woke up In the early morning I could barely move my leg. Horrible pain. I decided to wait a day and see, it didn't help. So I went to urgent care. Told the doc exactly what it was from. I had a fever. He gave me an antibiotic right there and a script. Today is day 4, I believe, and I can put on my own shoes today for the first time all week. Yay me!
The question is....why? And beyond that, I need to take my next dose soon , so what then. I bought a different brand recently to have on hand just in case. Im thinking I should try that. But its the same amber colored liquid so I wonder if it's any different. I really dont want 2 messed up legs at the same time. Any thoughts here guys?
BTW, the brand that gave me the horrible reaction/infection is a site Sponsor. Who knows if the product is the issue or not so im not throwing anyone under the buss. Just saying it's a regular name that people use. Not some back alley garbage.
 
I had the exact same thing happen over a decade ago from a sponsor. I had a fever and was really sick. They were garbage I will call them out now it was Olympus.

Now in your case... was it a new bottle or from the same you have pinned from before? Could the vial have gotten contaminated? So many things could have happened I would not blame tbe gear yet. I would pin from another bottle and shitcan that one.

Yeah shit man I wouldn’t pin the thigh and use the same bottle and see what happens in your glute or delt.
I’m not sure why you would use a particular brand of test for a long period of time if you always get pip from it. There are plenty of brands out there to choose from and I’d be confident you could find a sponsor that provides test that agrees with your body.

Now sanitation and just a bad shot can cause your situation. Maybe just something was off? Also the thigh is like the worst spot to pin for most people. Good luck bro!

Is this going to be another one of those fucking threads where we have to eat up the entire day guessing which sponsor it is. jesus christ guys.
 
Get better brother!! and yeah dudes should include all pertinent info.. Everyday lately it’s like “I got food poisoning from McDonalds today but I’m not saying which restaurant.” All of the legit sponsors will be the first to help a guy out and it really helps you rule shit out.. Giving info is a lot different than accusing people and every rational adult knows the difference.. but here we go.. lol.

I’m fairly new to this but in all my ignorance I somehow found great sponsors to do business with and it’s pretty obvious who stands by product with testing ect.. Why does it seem like some folks are out here playing Bio Roulette.. lol
 
To the OP.... Are you sure it is infected? An overnight infection?
Never had that happen before... usually takes a week before you fever up.

I've had infections so bad they had to be scooped out and packed with gauze..... Had to pull out an inch of gauze everyday until it healed.
 
Avoid thighs for sure. I won't say pin the same stuff again or not because it's so hard to tell, but at least try a non thigh site next time.

As for all the other questions. ,yes it was Dragon. I left them a good review cause they were above and beyond helpful one time.
The bottle and the syringe were brand new, first dose from that bottle, and i always use pads to clean everything and myself.

And honestly I couldnt care less where it came from, im more concerned with why, and how to avoid it in the future. Everyone seems to be in agreement that the thigh is a bad spot? Glute then? Im really not looking to have trouble taking a shit cause I cant sit on a toilet!
Ill have to look it up for procedure I guess

If it was from a new vial there’s now way in fucking he’ll I would inject it a second time.. lol Doesn’t mean it’s contaminated could just be bad for your chemistry but either way trash can..

The bill isnt even the worst part. If you put a shoe box on the ground in front of me right now, I couldn't step over it lol. Not with my right leg anyway. If both my legs were like that id be stuck on the couch
 
I’d toss it, just not worth it. If you’re getting that kind of pip in general from C or E I’d move on and try something else.

Maybe once or twice from a bad or rushed injection but not on the regular.

Yeah, I never pin my quads with the 1st shot from a new vial.
