A long but cool word of encouragement that we are to rest and trust in Jesus for everything, from salvation to our works. He is only glorified when we are empty vessels...He even does the works through us when we partner with Him in rest

Jesus consistently did miracles on the sabbath day, in Jewish religion it was forbidden to do any type of work at all. Why did Jesus choose to do miracles on the Sabbath day?
I believe it was 100% intentional, showing them the law was created by God to show Jews they needed Him and for us/them today that we rest in HIM daily now.
He is the Sabbath now to all who believe ... He said “It is FINISHED” He meant everything from the cost of Adams disobedience, sin and death entering the world which caused all men to be born sinners. We are 100% restored, our debt created by Adam and then our personal sins paid in full, even to fulfilling our daily needs not only being met but far exceeded. to the most important, we have 100% total sonship being co-hiers with Christ
Romans 5:19
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
example A of Jesus healing on the sabbath

John 5
When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been
in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”....
Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.
And that day was the
Sabbath. The Jews therefore said to him who was cured,
“It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.”
He answered them,
“He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’ ”
therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because
He not only broke the Sabbath, but also
said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.
Example B healing on the sabbath,
One Sabbath, when Jesus went to eat in the house of a prominent Pharisee, he was being carefully watched. There in front of him was a man suffering from abnormal swelling of his body. Jesus asked the Pharisees and experts in the law, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath or not?” 4 But they remained silent. So taking hold of the man, he healed him and sent him on his way.
Then he asked them, “If one of you has a child or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull it out?”And they had nothing to say.
I believe there are 7 miracles in total He did on the sabbath , but Im not sure
My point is Jesus is intentional in everything He did so I believe He was showing us in His word, when we rest we can literally be the empty vessel He calls us to be and then He can do things though us, from loving others to speaking life, peace and even miracles to and over people daily. When we rest in Him He works through us, so He is glorified. We are literally that close to Him as believers, we are one with Jesus and the Father, not equals but one, we are truly in sonship with God the Father
John 17 who are we to God as believers in Christ? Jesus prayed this before HE went to the cross
My prayer is not for them alone.
I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
“Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
“
Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”
We, you and me are co-heirs with Christ and we have the same resurrection power within us according to the word He spoke.
@GYMnTONIC
we dont know the day nor the hour nor the year.
This is where we are today

we are ministers of reconciliation sharing the gospel so the wedding banquet is full

2nd peter The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. It is th will of God that none shall perish but all come to know Him
The Parable of the Wedding Feast
22 And again Jesus spoke to them in parables, saying,“The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son, and sent his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding feast, but they would not come. Again he sent other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and my fat calves have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast.”’ 5 But they paid no attention and went off, one to his farm, another to his business, 6 while the rest seized his servants, treated them shamefully, and killed them. The king was angry, and he sent his troops and destroyed those murderers and burned their city. Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy.
Go therefore to the main roads and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.’ And those servants went out into the roads and gathered all whom they found, both bad and good. So the wedding hall was filled with guests.
“But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who had no wedding garment. And he said to him,
‘Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Bind him hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’For many are called, but few are chosen.”
This is also worth mentioning since its in the verse I quoted because I know it can sound confusing as to how would a person enter into the wedding banquet? so for clarity ***no garment means you're not cleansed by Jesus blood, you're not born again. You may have repented but are not fully trusting in Jesus for everything
so for scripture reference
I Never Knew You
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. ;On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
this is our job right here, learning who we are in Christ by the transforming word of God as we offer our bodes a living sacrifice to be filled with the Holy Spirit, not a religious one which will keep you striving to please God rather than resting in His peace that surpasses understanding,
Romans 12
therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.;Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
peace and love in Christ bros
