Best meal prep delivery services?

Any meal prep services you guys recommend. I tried megafit meals and they were actually pretty good. Was looking at nutrition solutions but not entirely sure, have heard mixed reviews. Any you guys sugges
 
1st order with Flex pro meals is good. Get 40% off large meals come out to like 6 bucks can be in the 4s if you order the regular meals. To me meal prep services are crazy though. My local one costs 12-14+ a meal. About $60 a day plus having to eat more at home to fill in the macros. I just can’t see myself eating 400+ a week that’s almost my rent. Problems of being a peasant I guess lol

Definitely way too expensive for my taste, too.
 
I use a local meal prep service for my lunches/dinners. 8-10 months out of the year I'm putting in an average of 80 hours/wk at work, which leaves me not a ton of free time. Meals are roughly $14.50/per, macros are perfect for me, and this allows me to utilize my limited free time for other things. Big bonus for my local company is the fact they source from local farms, and deliver the meals freshly made/not frozen.

I've tried a handful of "shipped frozen" meal prep companies and personally think they're not ideal. Calories are too low, price to value ratio is disproportionate, and to be frank - I don't entirely trust the delivery companies.

Yea it's hard to find a good one. I use a local one most times but they don't have much variety so wanted to switch it up for a few .

I’m looking at 212 hours on my bi weekly check coming up and I still meal prep lol or as stated above use the wife sometimes hehehe little hack I use I’ll buy the jasmine rice ready to microwave cups sometimes. They’re like 2 bucks maybe. That’s for a super pinch where I was either lazy or forgot to put rice on the rice cooker plus they taste great imo, but I eat the same damn thing everyday so I can see if you add variety it may be more inconvenient.
 
Meal prepping is easy and only takes 1-2hrs depending what you are making. I cook 10 meals on Sunday afternoon along with a high protein dinner so I have left overs for a few days to add in extra meals.

My breakfast is the same every morning with premium protein cereal, lunch is Turkey burger sometimes with rice but always with a min 2 cups broccoli, and dinner is usually 4-6 baked chicken tenderloins and a cup of broccoli.

I have on the go protein bars and protein shakes. Shakes at home b4 workout. Snacks can be easy like cottage cheese, nuts…I like almonds and walnuts, and then celery with PB.

It’s easy and costs way less.
 
Do you own meal prep... I do every day.
Still costs me $4-500 a week but at least I know im getting quality food. Plus Im around 6200kcals a day.
And my cooking is wonderful....LMAO!
 
I do a mix... meal prep for 5 meals a day, but dinner is meal delivery and fresh cooking.

Aren’t all those meals shipped in plastic? I don’t mind the odd meal here and there in plastic but my food goes in Pyrex in my house.
 
I'm a MegaFit guy myself. Been really happy with them. CookUnity is far better cuisine wise but the macros are (n)

I’ve tried a few of them but Factor had the best selection when I used them. Tasted the best IMO too.

One thing I didn’t like about any of them is the high sodium content. Cost was another influencer for me not using them more often.

Definitely cool to try them and gives you a break on cooking for a bit. And likely healthier than grabbing fast food.

I was using Cooking Unity for an extra meal that I didn't have to cook. Menu is extensive
prices are good, food is good but they use too many seed oils and soy in the meals that
taste decent.

I'm expecting a delivery from Metabolic meals this week. Their ingredients are better but
their menu options are limited and they charge $20 for shipping after your initial order if
you don't get at least 12 meals a week.

Factor's meals didn't taste very good and the selection was not great either.

Clean Eatzz is pretty good, it’s a franchise where you order and pick up. No shipping charges and 15 meals will cost around $10 each.
 
I’ve use Factor, and they were good. Some of their meals were pretty high fat or high carb. Icon meals is one that I keep hearing about. They’re local but they ship nationwide I believe. I was training with a guy from out of town and he ordered some and said they had a menu, but you could also do custom macros. I’ve used Snap Kitchen before too. Tastes good and reasonably priced with a discount code.

Man that is almost entirely the reason why i refuse to buy meal prep it just financially doesn't make any sense to me.

It doesn’t unless you have money like that. I eat ground turkey and Jasmine rice. 20lb bag of rice is a few bucks, 4lbs of turkey is 15… makes no sense to spend that much.

Dude i make a good living and ill be honest im a cheap asshole. I dont even understand buying protein powder unless i cant eat all my damn protein and man i can eat some food. I mean i thought about it for a long as time. with the fact that i work in the Oil and Gas industry and am away from home i thought maybe it would be so much more easy on me. but the prices are out of this damn world to pay for all that.
 
Man I guess I'm lucky, I practically have a small kitchen in my "office" at work. Always cooking rice in the rice cooker and cooking meat in the electric skillet.
