Just organizing the portfolio on androgens, Anabolic’s, peptides , Sarms and estrogen blockers, any one use anti estrogen and what are the effects of producing muscle along with energy and work ability?

Only knew of a few athletes on them, Brock lesnar got caught with estrogen blockers a few times, is this used for cutting or do they have muscle enhancing properties? Only came across a few brands…

Anti estrogens
* Arimidex
  • Aromasin
  • Clomid
  • Evista
  • Femara
Will probably stay away from these, as depleting one compound or strand doesn’t seem useful just to elevate another. But I’ll be open to what others have experienced or gained.

I'm trying to nail down the proper dosage of Arimidex. My last E2 blood test was 84. I was beginning to experience a few sides from the E2. Nipple sensitivity, bloating, and libido was beginning to slow some.

In my case an AI makes sense. I want to get my E2 back down into the 30-40 range. That is high for some, but it is where I felt best at.

I have been on Arimidex for 1 week, taking. .5mg eod. I am not seeing any improvement so this week I am going to try .5mg ed. Hopefully this doesn't crash my estrogen. I have never experienced an estrogen crash, and I really don't want to from what I have read.

Depends on what other gear you’re on but .5mg ed seems high, I would wait a little bit more before I dose ed. Adex works pretty fast but it might take a little bit before you actually feel a difference.

Let me see if I can provide a short crash course.

For many of us anti estrogens are mandatory unless you want to develop gyno (man boobs). Other high estrogen symptoms include your dick not working, water retention, being emotional etc. Some data suggests chronically high estrogen can also lead to prostate cancer.

AI Aromatase Inhibitors will be what I mention first. These are Aromasin (exemestane), Armidex (anastrozole) and Letro (idk the generic name off the top of my head.

Aromatase is an enzyme present in all our bodies that converts testosterone into estrogen. So an AI inhibits/blocks the production of estrogen. Different people have different amounts of Aromatase in their body so that's why there is a no one size fits all dosage. The best way to determine your proper dosage is via blood work. Some guys go by "feels" which is a more crude approach.

The other type of "estrogen blocker" I'll mention is a SERM which stands for Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator. The most commonly known of these are Nolvadex and Clomid. These drugs don't inhibit Aromatase from converting testosterone to estrogen. They instead bind up to Receptors such as our breast tissue so estrogen can't bind to these receptors.

Anytime you are injecting testosterone or a derivative of testosterone that maintains the ability to Aromatize you may need an anti estrogen to keep estrogen levels from getting to high in the body.

According to everything I have read .5 ED and eod both seem high. However, I have about 80lbs of fat to lose while also injecting 200mg of test c. I do split the dose into twice a week injections to even things out. Even with that my total test is mid 500s and an E2 level of 84. I know body fat aromatizes, but I don't know the rate or how to calculate the percentage. I am pretty sure my BMI is having an impact on the estrogen level I am seeing.

I want to include some different gear into my TRT for a true cycle, but at the moment losing the huge amount of fat I gained due to my thyroid and testosterone crashing is a priority. Being fat feels absolutely miserable. I have no idea how people maintain an obese body and enjoy life.

I have been natural my entire life, with only a curiosity about PEDs. Now that I know competing in MMA, Boxing, Kick Boxing, etc is out in regard to sports I have enjoyed (age is mid 40s, and I don't want to be hit in the face voluntarily anymore) my time in full contact sports is a memory.

My lightest body was before I turned 20. I was 185lbs at about 8% body fat. My heaviest healthy weight was around 220lbs with approximately 8% body fat. At the moment my fat ratio is ridiculous and I am easily weight in at 285lbs, 295lbs, and at times 305lbs depending on the amount of water weight I retain.

Trust me, being fat isn't fun. Just reading what I just wrote makes me want to flip a coin; work out, go to sleep, or have a beer or 6 (just being honest).

Thank you.

I'm beginning to think I need a medical degree in endocrinology just to lose weight, gain muscle, and hit my perfect TRT levels. I'm learning more and more everyday thanks to this forum. Keep educating me gentlemen.

My doctor prescribed me arimidex few yrs ago I was told 1mg a week, but different strokes for different folks

Aromasin and Nolvadex....Dosage depends on bloodwork...Letro (Femara) Is great only for the last 4 weeks headed into a show.
Arimidex fucks my lipids up so bad that even my meds wont even clear up my HDL and LDL

I honestly have no idea what I am doing yet. I'm learning as I go.
Doctors prescribing HRT are kinda new to this also... They always prescribe Arimidex.
You lucky to be learning in this day and age. No internet back when I started using AAS.
I think Dan Duchaines Underground Steroid book (or orange paper with a few pages...) came out in 81 i think......
Most of the gym goers Had that book and went by it....So in 88 when I started using AAS, all we really knew what to do was from our dealers in the gym.
In this game your health is the most important.
Blood work quarterly! You can order your own blood work online. My Doc does mine cause he knows what I do.
Address any issues (ie Blood pressure, raised liver enzymes, E2, Lipids ETC ETC)
DONT do big doses...... If you see high doses in these bodybuilding forums, its either someone who dont know better or a top competitor in the sport they love. Genetics and Diet are the most important things. Drugs are just the final touch.
