I've noticed my biggest problem on a cut isn't really hunger. It's getting to the end of the day and suddenly wanting to eat everything in the kitchen.

During the day I'm usually fine, but evenings are where I tend to mess up my calories.

Anyone else have the same problem? What actually helped you control it without just relying on more willpower?

This is not aimed at the OP, but times have really changed from back in the day. Hunger was just part of regular dieting and harsher cuts like prep. We dealt with it without all the hacks available now like icreami's, thousands of recipes on hand, tasty low-calorie food and whey options, macros on everything, etc. and now with GLP's people get a little "food noise" and they bitch. It's even guys who aren't remotely lean or on low calories. Some guys need it in a considerable surplus nowadays. If dieting was easy, fun or without sacrifice we'd all be ripped.

This is coming from someone who could literally eat 8,000 calories a day and still be hungry. lol

Just maneuver your food however you can, eat high volume and train hard. Hunger is good sometimes! :) Sorry rant over!

Its a whole different world that way today. Dieting & cutting for an entire wrestling season was rough in the 80's but u did what u had to to make weight to make for your wrestling team at a specific weight so u had the best Duals team possible 💪.

I've heard alot of "back in my day" statements in my life, but this is the first time that I've ever heard "hungry today aint hungry like it was back in my day. " We walked to school hungry; up hill in both directions. 🤣🤣

Tirzepitide, whatever dose you tolerate. It also helped me quit drinking. I have done all 3 GLPs and Tirz helped me the most.

Thanks guys, some good ideas here. I’ll try saving more of my calories for the evening and see if that helps. Appreciate the input.

Unless i am on a contest diet i save some carb and fat calories for the evening. I eat protein with veggies and a little carbs(around training) evenly through out the day.
Been doing that for going on 40 years so that works for me. Keeps unwanted weight at bay.

If you film yourself eating 8k cals a day clean for a week, I’ll seriously send you $1000. From someone who has been eating that much food for the past several weeks, I promise you that you will not be hungry if you can even get the food down.

Save your calories for when you’re most hungry. You can also snack on high volume things. Baby carrots. Celery. You can also make a really big salad with a bunch of veggies in it and then for the dressing mixed together Dijon mustard, balsamic vinaigrette, and red wine vinegar. That’s essentially a 0 cal salad dressing and it’s delicious. A really good hack for baby carrots is sticking them in the air fryer until they get really soft and crispy. They taste like sweet potatoes. Then you can take some Greek yogurt and mixing a little milk and some ranch seasoning and dip them in that and you have a pretty high volume low-calorie snack

But I’m also on tirzepatide so my urge to snack is gone.

Unfortunately I am hungry at every moment all day
Get on tirz then brother

And if you don’t wanna get on tirz then the reality is…you’re just gonna be hungry. Or, find low cal snack options like the one I listed

I'm on Reta now. It helps. Sema crushed my appetite. Never tried Triz

I’ve seen quite a few people say reta doesn’t suppress their appetite a ton. Tirz is more intense on the appetite suppression. Reta excels in the glucagon receptor to Increase fat oxidization and Increasing your calories burned at rest by increasing RHR. Try tirz and see what it does for you. Semaglutide I’ve def hurt just basically crushes appetite and is unbearable for a lot of people

Yeah Reta is like a muted suppression. I can still eat through it if I wanted. Sema I couldn't finish meals
