Added Anavar to protocol seem to be getting more sore

Just as the title says , I recently (11 days ago ) started 50mg anavar a day in addition to the 500mg of test cyp im pinning each week . I’ve noticed an increased amount of soreness especially in my shoulders and quads . I haven’t changed much of anything else besides the addition of the anavar and my intensity of workouts has stayed the same . Just wondering if this is a normal side with var
 
Anavar is really good at building a mind muscle connection that you may have been missing before.

I would say you could probably drop that dosage by half and go sublingual for the same effect during your workout, but sublingual stays in your system a shorter time depending on your goal with it.

I second this! I had my first var pre-workout yesterday and had the gnarliest cramp of my life in my bicep about 2 hours after the workout. 400mg magnesium citrate and 200mg potassium and I felt fine an hour later. Sore like OP says, but no more cramps. I was afraid to move anything at one point cause of the pumps in my calves and biceps.
 
Slightly related topic. Since I added primo in I've been getting extremely sore to the point it feels I'm on the brink of pulling a muscle after playing a field/court type sport, which is impacting my ability to lift for a few days (basically it's lengthing recovery time). I'm wondering if it could be a result of over-training legs a few weeks prior, a blood flow issue, or potentially a lowering in estrogen?

More so with people who haven't been able to get a real connection before.

The pump induced (from probably most/all oral AAS) can help bridge the connection.

Probably more bro science than anything, but had more and a few friends have similar experiences.

Personally helped me connect better with my side delts and even now without any orals I have a better connection still.
 
I’ve found that 20ish mg of var is the sweet spot as general rule of thumb, but on push pull days I like 40-50.
Real leg days 20 is almost too much for my lower back

Just add Taurine if your going to use Var... Its almost always a must.
I use 10gs Taurine when on Var. Back pumps are GONE!

No... Taurine balances out the water and electrolytes in the kidneys.

Possibly stupid question: why would you need Taurine supplements if you're getting plenty of complete proteins in the diet? Isn't it just an amino acid?

This and plenty of water. Read everything said above about good hydration

Although soreness is a different response than cramping

Soreness usually means we're not getting the calories/nutrition or rest that we need. Anavar strongly shuttles certain nutrients and other things into the muscle, which increases the need for them.

Unless your goal is a hard cut make sure you get plenty of quality macros. If youre trying to cut make sure youre getting optimum nutrition from what you eat. Then plenty of rest and good hydration

Add some salt, potassium and also maybe some joint and bone supps. Glucosamine or something. Var will dry ya out so could make ya a little sore and tight.
