Hello,

I'm a noob. I also have a low AQ.
Male / 37 yo / 230 lbs / Total Test 357 / Never done TRT or steroids.

I am currently waiting for Test Cyp. But, because I'm a fucktard and a noob, I also bough other stuff that someone on Reddit told me to buy. Yes, we already established I'm a moron. Move on.

I have:
50x 1mg Arimidex
50x 10mg Anavar
50x 20mg Nolvadex

Do I do something with this?
Should I use it later?
Should I forget about it and move on?

Please be gentle with me. I'm new. No need to tell me I'll grow tits or have ED that I already have.

Have you seen a doctor about trt or you just going bro science
My doc won't help me. I gave up on doctors. It took me being persistent to the point it was uncomfortable in the room to request blood test for my T. They did only Total Test, no free test, no estrogen. So I either spend $300 to test it myself or $300 on gear. I already spent it on gear.
They didn't even want to give me H pyroli test which might be something I have. I had stomach ulcers in the past and now I feel similarly. Where I live, I don't have many options and I'm tired that doctors that should help, don't.
A fat ass bitch at the doc office told me that the way I feel is because of my diet. My diet's on point bitch. 2,000 calories, healthy food, no sugar, intermittent fasting… And she's fat and gives me diet tips.

Bro science is what I'm opting in I guess.

I really think most of your questions can be answered with the search bar and YouTube videos.

plenty of dr's on YouTube talking about trt therapy and steroids for that matter and peoples experiences in there cycles.

Dave Palumbo has a YouTube channel that talks about alot as well as this guy PE fitness I think that are pretty informative.
Dave's is Rx Muscle.

I feel like this question gets asked alot and if people would just poke around they would find exactly what they are looking for.
as far as some of those you listed there all for different timing. if you want to learn more about those in specific you can type each name into the search bar then choose the article with your highlighted search in it that you think will best fit you.

then you can ask more targeted questions.

if you want to know your levels you can go to a private lab to get bloodwork and it is around 300$ I just looked into it.

Yeah I got same price at Defy Medical. The thing is that I already pay $300 monthly for insurance, and ain't exactly rich. My estimate in with Defy Medical would be average of $250 monthly (averaging with all the fees and appointment costs).
$300 is a lot for me these days. I'm seeing my doc in a week and I'm working on strategy how to make that fucker do me some real tests. I'll try to go through insurance, but I know comprehensive test results is the most I can hope for. They won't help me with the T unless it's lower than 200.

Ok, so sounds like your mind is made up about jumping in.

Imo:

Start with 150mg test c per week split between two doses Mon/thr for example.

The AI and Novla are good to have on hand, but you probably won’t need them at that does.

Hang onto the Var for later, don’t use that now.

It is prudent to get blood work done about a month in to see if your dose of test is high or low.

Imo, 357 test naturally isn’t unfixable. I would be hesitant to jumping into a lifetime of pinning.

List Available Here

The basic start is 200mg a week of test. 2 injections a week so, 100mg per injection say Monday and Thursday. Get bloods after 5 weeks which should be Testosterone ( free and total), E2 ultra sensitive, CMP and lipids panel, and then post your bloods ( blackout personal info) A lot of people can help you read them. Don’t touch Armidex or the Anavar or Nolva. Once you get bloods and only after you get bloods you may need an AI, very doubtful but if you have higher BF then you might. ( I would recommend Aromasin) but don’t start taking AI unless bloods show it’s way above range. Now the most important part. DIET!!!!! Eat healthy to gain or lose weight. If your goal is to lose weight then calculate to maintainance calories, using an APP. To lose weight track calories and reduce calories 300-500 a day below maintainance. You can adjust your dose after blood work. Depending on how you respond. This is just my advice. I’m on TRT year round in between cycles.

The highest I've ever had was little over 500. But now My 72 yo dad had more test than I do and he's not on TRT.

Will do

I started looking into the T because low mood, low energy, hard to lose weight, blah blah blah. It's been getting worse since my late 20's
I'm still debating but if I will be on it 3 years from now, vs now, what's the difference? Genuine question.
My quality of life sucks and I'm looking mainly into it. Bulking isn't my priority now. I've heard amazing things from men who jumped onto TRT and how their life improved. I want that.

Also, My lifestyle, diet, and supplements have been optimized to boost my T. Not much result.

What's BF? I can't find it on Google.

I eat below 2,000. I've been taking care of the diet, sleep, working out, plus I do jiu jitsu 4-5 times a week. I use the Lose it app. I went as low as 1,000 calories but for some reason I lose more weight and also feel better at 1,800 - 2,000.
Thanks for the input.

Body fat percentage. You don’t want to go too low in calories. You body will feed on muscle and you will get skinny not fit. At your weight 2500 clean calories a day you should drop weight with good cardio and good clean foods

Get bloodwork
Bf= body fat..imo who cares
Ditch or save stuff you bought from reddit
You do not want to go to low with calories
What's your stats ? Sorry if I missed it

So u train and do ju jitsu,??
What's your goal here? Trt for mood energy etc..?

2000 calories seems a little low for someone who does jujitsu that consistently. What’s your height? Trying to get an understanding of what these 230lbs are made of lol

Also, like Jb said. Is this cycle you’re trying to hop on simply for enhancing performance on the mats and overall well being? Or do you also weight train and are looking to grow/cut build a physique?

To gen lean, better physique, more energy, motivation, not feeling like a bitch in my own skin. I've been trying many many things and spent many dollars and not much results. I'm desperate to be honest.

Right now I train BJJ about three times a week because I'm still recovering after injury. But in few weeks I'll go back to my regular schedule.

I forgot about the height my bed. I'm 6'1".

The second one. To hop on and enhance my quality of life.
I do some weights but I don't train since 2022 to get bigger. I started jujitsu in 2020 I do competition sometimes. This year I would want to focus on losing weight and staying in my weight class or going weight class lower.

Well bro while little test may help you with most those things, feeling better about yourself is something you need to find within yourself,
Diet, training, discipline and consistency maybe what you need to overcome that feeling..

I wish that would be the case. It has been getting progressively worse despite the fact that I was fat bitch in my twenties. I improved all the areas of my life, I even go to therapy every month. I take serious care about my mental health after finding a family member that commit a suicide. Mentally I'm in great shape but whatever I do it seems like over the years the energy and the motivation and just feeling strong fade away.
TRT wasn't even on my radar until a year ago. The worst case scenario if nothing will happen I will stop and try to recover to normal levels. Since I won't be blasting, I think it's possible to bounce back to your natural testosterone production after a few months on lower end dose of TRT.

I'm not trying to be a smartass. Those are just my thoughts and how I process. I always appreciate any input or pointing out mistakes in my thinking and judgment.

I'd be wrong if saying trt dose won't help you,it has helped me in plenty, yes it will be easier to bounce back if proper pct is ran,I'm past that I been on test few years now, mood libido overall energy and well being improved..
I personally have been through what you spoke of multiple times,I do understand, my point being everything happens for a reason and molds us to become bigger better and stronger individuals..
You may see me cutting up joking alot but that's my way of getting past all the bullshit I have been through, alot of guys here helped in many ways, mentally spiritually etc..
You want to do self trt go for it.be smart about ,bloodwork, no crazy high dose take your time see how you feel..

160 -180mg Test per week would definitely cause you to feel a difference in your training, and in life overall quite frankly. My levels were near yours when I jumped on about a year ago. I feel that I’m a bit of a hyper responder to test. 180mg per week puts me around 1250, and 160mg per week puts me around 1000. Stay on top of your bloodwork. Specifically hemocrit, RBC, HDL, LDL, and E2. Maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle and you’ll be fine.

Thanks for the comment. The names for the bloodwork are useful.

Actually, because of your post I understand now the relationship between mg/ml injected and ng/dL. Someone in one of my posts kind of confused me writing something like that, "pinning only 100mg a week will put your testosterone lower than you have now". Which I thought doesn't check out. It made me think, you pin 100mg a week, you test goest to 100ng/dL. Which makes no sense.
That's how I thought initially how it works. You start lower, see how you feel, check the blood, adjust the dose if needed. Thanks.

After over 20 years on Dr. prescribed TRT. I can say what i have seen is that most Dr.s want to start people with low T on something like androgel. Urologists are easier to get T scripts from then most specialists. If going IM then 100mg/week is the starting range for most Dr.'s Online T repelcamant sites start higher then that, but they are more about selling their product and services where as most Dr.'s are in it for their whole careers and wont jeopardies themselves with over prescribing. Without real blood work it is hard to say what is best. Whether and anti estrogen is even needed. Starting low then increasing the dose is easier to find a good base line then starting to high and trying to lower the dose to see what is best. Much depends if you are wanting T replacement for performance or for health reasons.

Blood test and gear are not mutually exclusive. They go hand in hand. I get it if you can't afford both but the blood test is more important. Get the results and THEN form a plan.
I can tell you that people with an overabundance of H. pylori can feel pretty fucked up so jumping on testosterone as the problem isn't a very good solution. Virtually everyone has this bacterium but not so much that it overwhelms the system, causing it's many symptoms.
I'd want to get that under control first IF you in fact have a problem with H. pylori. I don't recall the exact treatments but any of them might be contraindicated with using any of the drugs you are about to buy off the internet.

Your diet is "on point"? So is every other guy on this forum. Lol!

How about post your diet and eating schedule here. Not what you plan to eat but what exactly goes into your mouth for a couple of days. Guys here will give you some great, although varying, advice if you post your food intake.
Diet is like 80-90% the cause of things.

You're in the right place.. Brother..
Read.. research and ask Educated Q's..
2k cals with BJJ.. you'll be 125lbs in 3 months..LoL..
Lol..
Low cals make me feel like shit.. Yeah,F that..!!
I eat a shit ton every day..

You've gotten some great tips..
Z...

So true. I can’t count how many people post that they are 20+ percent bf, which is probably more like 30% and say that their diet is “ on point.” Even with low T there it is fairly easy to stay thin with a good diet. It’s the gaining lean muscle with low T that gets tougher.

How far above maintenance would you recommend going for a first test only cycle? I’m cutting at the moment, plan to be at my new maintenance for awhile, and then not sure how much to raise it after first pin.

Try one of those macro calculator, a few of them to get average read..your stats and daily out put will determine your maintenance cals.from there add few hundred, don't want to just start slamming alot of food, digestion issues etc..

I eat a lot of calories like 4000 to bulk but my diet is far from perfect lol. I eat plenty of protein and carbs, but I eat too much sugar and other stuff lol. I dont care about looking crazy lean. For me I’m naturally thin, so my goal has always been to bulk up. I’m 5’10 like 205 which I feel is pretty skinny IMO. I have no desire to ever compete. To be completely honest, I don’t even like body buildings lol. I couldn’t name 10 bodybuilders in history without google. I have just always enjoyed working out since I was in the Marines. I like looking good but I couldn’t care less about a ripped 6 pack lol. So I’m probably not the best person to give diet advice. I like doing cardio so i can generally not stress over calories and abs creep in just from cardio. If I was going to cut I would be more stringent on my diet and use an app to track my macros. It will tell you your maintenance calories and typically tell you your daily caloric goal if you input your desired weight. But I like to enjoy life and not stress everyday about everything I eat.

For sure, I know how to bill properly, I just don’t know how much I’d enough on cycle if that makes sense, or if same rules apply ya know?

For sure I get that, I have everything dialed in just trying to prep for how being on cycle will effect how much I eat. Appreciate it man
