What an awesome guy. Thanks Bro!
My former friend won the overall in 2021. I’m not positive but I think it was in a school auditorium and cramped as fuck. Ruhl was the guest poser and gigantic.Me and a buddy have been going to the Ronnie Coleman Classic for years. Matter of fact, we were going to it when it was being held in Grapevine 20 years ago. Damnnnnnnn, didnt realize Ive been going that long. Im officially old AF
Yes, Markus was there, huge as a mofo. Flex Wheeler and Milos Sarcez were there. I remember being surprised all the big-azz guys in the audience, that werent even famous. That was also when Ronnie was dating Vicki Lewis, she was bigger than most dudesMy former friend won the overall in 2021. No worries Brother! I ended up changing my mind to the 20 Sep TX NPC Extravaganza….So a fun fact I found out at tournament of champions this past Saturday. You cannot bring your own camera. You can only use your phone. If you caught you will be asked to leave. So I’m sorry that I can’t take photos of y’all.

Yes Sir. Most are often both an IFBB Pro and NPC show. Some of the best vendors (supplements, wellness, merch, etc…) that I have found have been at NPC shows. Best show in TX in my opinion is the Lee Labrada Classic, which is both an NPC and Pro Show. Private world class gym for contestants, best mech, etc…What are the NPC events like? Do they have supplement booths and meet and greets?
It depends. What are the NPC events like? Do they have supplement booths and meet and greets?
“You got this bro!”I think the same thing. I love bodybuilding at heart, but the amateur culture kills me especially these days with social media. Looking 12 weeks out talking about proud of the “package” we brought, now to beat it. All these package and shit overused bodybuilding terminology kill me as well as the NPC competitor in the bios.
This is why I will suggest only Pro/Am shows. The pro’s and IFBB have a standard which must be met. Some promoters really skimp at NPC only shows. It depends.
These days there's some sponsors there but it's not a free for all giveaway event like it used to be.
Ten fifteen years ago you would walk out of an expo or show with a Walmart sack full of shit. These days, maybe a small paper bag.
The quality of the show also depends. Open bodybuilding at certain shows is only decent, at most it's like 10-12 guys total. Maybe 1 or 2 who are really good (national level).
Bikini is ten hours long. Men's physique and classic usually have decent depth.
If I didn't know someone in a show, wasn't doing it myself or, seeing what it's like before I do one, it's usually a let down.
Bring home all the hardware

I see these guys and sometimes ask “Do you even look at stage ready guys on the internet?”
Speaking off this subject again. One of my gym members is currently 2 weeks out from his first show. Abs aren’t visible yet, I’d say he’s still got a good 10 weeks of dieting. Posted an update the other day on ig
“Currently 2 weeks out, depleted, flat, tired, but still got more work to do”
I said, mf I know you’re not any of those things the way you look, you haven’t even dieted, but I guess we gotta use the terminologies and act like we’re part of the bodybuilder pack and seek some attention in the mean time. Idk the level of delusional is beyond me.

She looks great at 40+This is his wife, so you know they totally live the lifestyle. Great people!
This got her a 2nd too in a stacked Women’s Physique 40+.View attachment 179438
He uses Neil Hill and she Shelby "win or die...sometimes actually die" Starner.@Syntha Claus Both look awesome.
Did your gym bro “bring home all the hardware”?

I haven't had time to go over that show yet and see the pre and Final.Larry wheels got his pro card and he looked a solid 4-6 weeks out. I guess you can be soft and turn pro now if you have enough followers. Just gotta make sure to put it in your bio.
Meanwhile I’ll eat my chicken, rice, and clen and do my cardio![]()
Wait…are you saying Sam shouldn’t have won that first pro show? Instagram had nothing to with it, whatsoever.Larry wheels got his pro card and he looked a solid 4-6 weeks out. I guess you can be soft and turn pro now if you have enough followers. Just gotta make sure to put it in your bio.

at least Sam was decently in shape. He peaked poorly and didn’t pose well, but his conditioning wasn’t that awful.Wait…are you saying Sam shouldn’t have won that first pro show? Instagram had nothing to with it, whatsoever.
