14 week Show prep log using Muscleshop gear

I feel I get the best workout when I do bike consistently. My legs show tremendous definition and don’t lose muscle size.

Bike, swim, treadmil, stair master. I change it up all the time
I think that's the key with conditioning, variety challenges you. I might try and do some biking or stair master, running just kills my joints.

What kinda bike do u like? I usually favor a fan bike
My favorite is to ride in the street. I have a 12 speed, nothing fancy I bought it for like $300. At the gym I like the regular bike, not the one in the spin class or fan bike.

So two months after the show still maintained my size and leanness through cardio, diet and 200mg test c per week. Blood work came back perfect. Recovered in all areas. Again, based on my experience low dosage, right combo of gear, diet and training will not only deliver results but you will maintain. November I’ll be 59.

Peeled veiny cockbody savage. Wtf. This man is mogging us all at 59 😂

Ok little update almost three months after last show and still maintaining on 200mg of test c my TRT dose. I feel great, well rested, all blood work is good and I am just going to stay in the TRT for the rest of the year. I was contemplating of doing another show since I am so lean, but with high school and college football and soccer is starting I need to pay more attention to my teams.
My next cycle God willing will be sometime in March of next year getting ready for summer. For those who know me I don’t bulk. Anyway, hope you all have a great weekend.

What’s ur favorite body part to train?

What’s ur least favorite body part to train?

Love back days. My last get a nice full pump just love it.

I hate arms. I feel I already do enough when training back and chest. Small
Muscle and quick workout in and out
What were you running in the off-season?
Just my TRT. This is one thing I never understood how some run cycles after cycles without recovery time. If I don’t complete I am extremely happy with 200’gnof test. I might throw in some Masteron or primo but nothing mora than 400mgnand a short time basis. I like the way I look and feel and as long as I can maintain in with TRT I am happy
Thank

Agreed! Back is my favorite because it helps me feel better posture wise. Probably why my back looks so full in comparison to the rest of my body as well. I really so no need to directly train arms as I hit them in compounded movements, I usually just train them as an accessory if I feel like I need to build them (example skull crushers at the end of a bench session).

Off course. Also, if I show up to the gym and that certain body part is sore or if I just don’t feel it I switch it up with another body part
Makes sense to me.

So let me ask you this, why do you enjoy splitting everybody part, cus obvi ur hitting some overlap on muscle groups whether you split them all up or not, is that part of the plan to overlap a little? Why do you choose this over an upper/lower or push/pull/legs. Realizing that a lot is “what works for you” but thought it would be interesting to hear your thought process even just for conversation and experience sharing sake.

Well through out the years I pretty much tried every thing you can imagine. I get the best workout, recovery and results from my current routine. The little overlap is not an issue.
I guess like I always say do what you do and if it works for you and your goals well that’s it. Also I never ever lift heavy. 10-12 rep range. For example I have great shoulders wide and I use 30 pound dumbbells for shoulder and Arnold press. Front and lateral raises with 15 pounds .

Very strict, controlled and slow.

How long have you been running this current routine? Prior to the current one, what was your routine? What prompted the switch?

And yea man, preach that slow n controlled light weight stuff. It’s a great way to train.

I would say about 5 years or so. The only thing I keep switching every week is the weights I use. For example if I am doing chest today and use barbell's next week I will use dumbells only and the following week use smith machine or some other sort of machine instead of free weights. Just keep the muscles guessing.

Prior to that I was doing two body parts, bicep back, shoulders/chest/triceps, legs and I was hitting each one twice a week. I felt I didn't get much results from them and kind of felt un satisfied when I left the gym. I don't know? Again, for me I saw the rapid change in the way I looked when I started my current routine. Just have to keep switching until you find what works for you.

I hardly ever use the scale. I go by the way I look in the mirror and make adjustments. If I am not happy with a certain body part, Ill work it harder and change things around

What's your ideal cycle for someone wanting to use safer doses, as you do? No Tren!

I'm getting older and my next cycle will be closely in line with what you recommend.

I know you like to keep things to 300-400mgs pw.

Man I love your approach to things. You also have the success to back it up. I learn a lot from you and I do apply it as well. Thanks for that!

That's actually really smart. That's kind of like how powerlifting conjugate training is built except you do it bodybuilding style. You can really avoid injury by not beating down your body the same way every week that way.

My split is Push/Legs/Pull/Legs because I'm trying to bring my legs up.

Some people adjust basic splits for what they need to work on the most and I think that's something very important you could take away from this conversation.
