I’m new to growth. I’m in my mid 30s wanting to add HGH to my upcoming bulk cycle. I’ve been on TRT for years now and wanting to try out HGH.

I’m 6’6 245lbs at 10 percent body fat. Just ended a 4 month cut.

My goals are muscle growth.

—What dosage would you recommend for growing muscle?

—How long should I run growth?

—When do the muscle building effects start to kick in? In guessing around 6 months?

—Everyone says that running growth hormone (GH) with testosterone is amazing, but what exactly makes the combination so effective?

What kind of synergy do GH and testosterone have? Does GH actually make testosterone work better, or vice versa?

I’ve also heard that using GH without testosterone is a waste. I do plan on using testosterone alongside GH, but I’m trying to understand why the combination works better than using either one on its own. Can someone explain what’s actually happening in the body that makes them more effective together?

I understand I can run it forever but I’m wanting to cycle it. I’m cool with running long term dosages but I will come off of it at some point before starting it again. Or at least lower the dose.

Please let me know your opinion on the topic. I’m mainly looking for people that have actually used the compounds vs someone that has just read something about it.

Start slow and titrate up to minimize sides and understand how your body reacts. Suggest 1-2iu for the first few weeks, go from there. Also, make sure you're getting good stuff. Feel free to DM me on that front.

For me, the magic starts to happen around 6-9iu, depending on the quality of your product. It's a long game, so don't expect results for 6 months or so.

GH and testosterone don’t really “boost” each other in a direct way, they act through different systems.

Testosterone is the main driver of muscle growth via androgen receptors and increased protein synthesis. GH works more through IGF-1, improving fat loss, recovery, and tissue repair rather than directly adding much muscle in adults.

The “synergy” people talk about is mostly overlapping effects (better recovery, improved nutrient partitioning, glycogen/water retention, fat loss), which can make results look more dramatic, not a true multiplier effect.

They complement each other, but neither one is useless without the other.

For a first-time GH run, maybe start at 3 - 4 IU. I'm pretty sure around 2 IU is often considered a basic “replacement” level for deficiency.

Personally, anything over 3 IU gives me pretty noticeable hand and finger aches, sometimes even numbness (almost an arthritic-type feeling from years of BJJ in the gi), plus some knee discomfort. Because of that, I’d start on the lower end and titrate up slowly instead of jumping straight in high.

Thank you very much. Very well put. I appreciate your input

These are the side effects I've gotten. I shouldn't have worded that last part with the assumption the same thing will happen to you.

NP. There's plenty of dudes here, and they have first hand experience with running GH through it's course way more than me.
