Absolutely!!!! Please feel free to message me. It's never to late to learn!!!
It's more about thinking of a calorie for what it is - a measure of a unit of energy.
Study what is and isn't a macronutrient vs micronutrient, what they do for your body and how your body uses them.....
Then start SIMPLE....
1. Meal plan 2-3 times a week so you already prepped what you eat.
2. The cooked weight of food is different than the uncooked weight; get a little scale on Amazon for 10 bucks.
3. There are so many free tools now for portioning out your meals as well as giving you a base to start journaling your meals, workouts, supplemental regimen - use them!

4. Look at the label on everything - if it's not natural or you can't pronounce it/it sounds like or is a chemical/poison - don't eat it.
5. It is free to grow your own food btw.
Some easy tricks I use:
1. Boiling 12-24 (depending on my husband's cycle too) eggs a week that are ready to go.
2. Portioning out "snacks" and timing them.
3. Setting reminders on my phone to hydrate.
4. Going by measurements and not just weight (esp for women). I always take them on the same day, same time, every month and write them not only in my journal but in dry erase marker on a
full-length mirror.
5. Continue to reach out to people on these forums and local BB you may come across in the gym. They are normally pretty obvious lol.... But actually, when I have asked for tips - literally the most helpful people in the world and genuine/genius in the responses I've been given
Lastly - never, ever give up!!! You got this!!!
