TRT to Blast Bulk Cycle Feedback

I’ve been on TRT for a couple of years now: ~160 mg/week Test Cyp, along with HCG at 1,000 IU/week. Total T generally sits between ~850–1050 ng/dL. E2 runs a bit high at times, but I feel fine overall. I’ve tried DIM in the past and felt awful on it, so I discontinued. For this blast, I may reintroduce very low-dose Aromasin if needed, but I plan to wait on bloodwork before making any changes.

All other biomarkers look solid, with the exception of elevated reverse T3, which I’ll be addressing with a small dose of T3 prescribed by my PCP.

Diet and nutrition are locked in: consistent caloric surplus with adequate carbs and protein. I’m running a half-clean / half-dirty bulk approach that’s been sustainable for me.

Training is 5 days per week, occasionally 4/6 depending on kids and life logistics.

Stats:
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 152 lbs

Goals:
  1. Increase waist size from 31.5” to 33–34”
  2. Reach ~168 lbs with primarily lean gains
Plan:

Weeks 1–10

Goal: Leverage NPP and an increased testosterone dose to maximize gains from caloric surplus and progressive training. Restore more of an “old athlete” training feel. Add mass and waist size while minimizing excessive bloat. Monitor estrogen closely and only intervene with ultra-low-dose Aromasin if necessary.

Sustanon: 300 mg/week (EOD)
NPP: 150 mg/week (EOD)
HCG: 1,000 IU/week (EOD)

Weeks 11–16

Goal: Maintain gains, tighten up composition, increase muscle density, and stabilize new strength.

Sustanon: 300 mg/week (EOD)
Primo: 150 mg/week (EOD)
HCG: 1,000 IU/week (EOD)

Weeks 17+
Return to TRT dose at ~160 mg/week Test C.


What are your thoughts on the Test:NPP dose ratio and the transition to Primo in the second phase of the cycle?
 
at 152lbs, what progress have you made since being on trt?

I'd assume if you dial in your nutrition and train hard, you'd be able to make the kind of progress you're looking for without needing to blast.

My weight dropped significantly and I lost a shit load of muscle due to an accident in 2020. I was unable to walk for about 6 months. I’ve been able to make significant progress with training and TRT. Over the last couple months I feel like I’ve flattened out on the strength gains, when I was making significant progress before. Before TRT was at 118lbs. I was skin and bones.
Why the hell do you want to make your waist bigger?
im not shy of my physical goal. Not sensitive over here! 😂 None of my pants fit like they use to. I was down to a 28 from a 33, not on purpose. I’m slowly getting back up there. But for me, it’s just part of my old physique that I want back. I know when I hit that 33, I will have hit the mass goal I’m looking for.

You are very confused. Mass is one thing, waist is another man lol
Your waist went down, albiet from a bad accident...that doesnt happen to people. Your goal should be to gain as much muscle as possible, forget even thinking about the waist. It serves no purpose and the more you say it, the weirder it is lol

What are you eating for calories a day and what do your macros look like?

What are you eating?
If you are shitting it out then you are not digesting it. I used to eat 4000-4500 calories as a maintenance diet for many years. 1 year i shot for 7000+ a day, then my gains slowed down. Dropped down to 6000 then started growing again. As my digestive system was not so stressed out i was not digesting it was just passing through. I ate 300-350 grams of quality protein a day, 6 meals a day year round for 28 years along with all the carbs and fats that was needed to accomplish what i wanted. These days i only take in 200-240 grams and 3000 cal a day over 4 meals.
 
Regardless of what you take..
If your diet/nutrition isn't there..reason I say "There "..it's a learning process to get it Dialed in..to what works best for You..
I say this..as one who was too bone headed to listen..when anyone would tell me I'm not eating enough..
Love comparing things to cars..
Food is the gas..like food it comes in different grades..
One can take a gram of Test, Train like a Monster and take a ton of supps..but without the Gas..
You might get results, but far from the One's you'll be expecting..
Nutrition was my weakness link from the Beginning of my Gear use..
Don't be like me and figure that out in your 50's..
