Hey all, I'm have a terrible time managing acne breakouts and painful cysts. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Name and where to order would be greatly appreciated.
Can acne get better or worse depending on the difference in brands of test? (Sus is one I'm currently using)

Been using Gluta and GHK for the Acne Scars for breakouts i use PanOxyl Foaming wash and it helps a bit. Wes from GymnTonic has some good products as well that will help. Sus,Anavar and Mast makes me breakout more... when i use Test E and Primo even on higher dose im ok

I tried it all man. Hopped on Accutane from the doc 5 months ago and I’m nearly clear! Would recommend. Cholesterol has been barely out of range and that’s it. Side effects suck but nothing that isn’t manageable

mine is bacterial when i get it so i have antibiotics on hand, oral and topical that i switch back and forth from. clears it up in 2/3 weeks.

now that i know how and why I get it its much easier to control.

I took accuatne around 15 or so years ago... Do it now. I waited until my late 30's and wish I would have done it sooner... I avoided the beach for 2 years it was so bad and embarrassing. Go to a dermatologist, get it done now and enjoy the upcoming summer... may need sunblock though. Yeah the dry skin sucks. The vasoline in the nose sucks, but what is by far shittier is have a zit covered back.... I'm telling you, it's worth it. It's up to you man, but it changed my life forever for the better.

Dry skin. Like everywhere. Chapped lips, nose bleeds, dry eyes. Do some research on it before you dive in. There’s tons of info from people out there. Lots of people have done it. It works really well!
Dry skin isn't a side effect. It IS THE EFFECT. Accutane shrinks the sebaceous glands to 0 (or that is the goal at least), if your skin is not producing oil, yes it'll be dry. If we lived in zimbabwe, maybe that'd be an issue, but a tub of moisturizer is like $12. All the other "sides" like depression or joint pain is almost certainly hypochondriac bullshit as the typical user of accutane are teenage girls (who take larger doses then the average "bodybuilder" scared of 40mg a day lmfao) who are going to be neurotic and quick to anxiety naturally.

Been on 80mg day for 2 months and have no issues, besides the dry skin, but that is par for the course. Still hasn't been crazy, just have to moisturize more.

If you get acne issues at all on gear theres no reason to not run Accutane, the acne issue will always effect you and only get worse as you continue your gear use. Same as hair....

So I have had to use Accutane 4 times over the years. The last run my dermatologist recommended using fish oil @2000mg daily. For me it completely changed the side effects. No more cracked lips, minor nasal dryness, and skin stay better hydrated. Was the least miserable run of Accutane to date.

Started Accutane at 10mg/day and moved up to 15mg. That cleared everything up and I haven't had any sides.

My two cents. A lot of people will say things like hygiene (shower more, change your pillow cover every night, fresh clothes multiple times a day), and diet (eliminate x foods, y micro or macro nutrients etc.) I think this probably helps for an non-bodybuilder but the scientific evidence is still not entirely concrete.

For a bodybuilder who is injecting themselves with steroids and their hormones are in the stratosphere compared to regular population, this stuff minimally applies and in my experience a lot of guys try such (diet, hygiene, etc.) and it doesn't really move the needle. This isn't surprising.

If you're genetically prone to hormonal acne and you are taking steroids, you will get acne regardless. The only two things that WILL work if this is the case is highly concentrated benzoyl peroxide bodywash (sometimes works) and accutane (always works but does have more serious health side effects such as on your lipids, sometime liver markers, and rarely mental health).

I think for a lot of bodybuilders, low dose accutane is enough to clear up and stop the acne, and has no noticeable effects on overall health or wellbeing. High dose accutane is a more permanent solution but not adviseable on cycle and is hard on your body.

I’ve found that EQ helps my facial acne better than anything else. I can get it on my back and cleaning it a few times a day with some special cleanser I got from my dermatologist along with 200mg daily of doxycycline helps.

I’ve seen that @GYMnTONIC has products and knowledge about helping to control and treat acne by researching about acne on this forum.

Everything everyone mentioned. But also high dose vitamin b5, pantothenic acid. It inhibits sebum production pretty strongly at high doses. 1-10 grams daily. Start at 500mg and see how it affects your stomach, pretty much the only potential side. Then keep adding more in until your skin dries out. Most people wind up around 1-2 grams. But some need 6-10. There is no established upper safe range. Your body eliminates excess in urine and no negative affects other than potential stomach discomfort have been observed in research trials at any level.
