Cost-Effective Protein Powder?

$3 a scoop, I can’t afford this.

Last I bought it from Super Supplements, it was $59 on sale and I got 20% off of that, delivered. It worked out to under $1 a serving iirc. But maybe I am not. I can tell you that is my standard. I usuall buy the Dymatize ISO100 for $95 with the 20 or 25% off. I only buy on sale unless in a pinch.
BTW , nothing wrong with the Costco stuff. I think it is probably Ascent, since they used to carry that before they replaced it with the Kirkland stuff. AScent is expensive retail.

With as much as you probably go through it’s gotta get pricey. I can see where shopping around is a must.
Costco used to have ON but swapped it out with whatever they put their name on now.

Fullerton nutrition true meal , is probably my go to, as long as it’s on sale . I do purchase species isolyze occasionally. That said , I’m just a little guy and don’t require that much to maintain my girlish figure !

I am not sure why people don't understand this, or seem to not be aware:

Look at the label. You want to have protein as clean as possible, meaning as few fillers and other kak as possible.
Let's look at Ryse for example, which is mentioned here.
The serving size is 35 grams, with the net protein being the standard 25 grams. That means there is 10 grams of shit in there.
The other one mentioned is Jacked. Same thing, 34 equals 25.
I have seen brand as high as 37 gram scoop, with that 25g net. Total garbage. Blows my mind anyone would eat this shit.

The good ones are as small as 30 grams with 27 grams net protein, like Diesel, which is grass fed from New Zealand cows. Sweetened with stevia and not sucralose.
The need to put a few things in there to prevent caking and other reasons, but the less the better.

I personally look for isolates that are at or under $1 per serving, since I use two scoops per, that is trying to stay under $2 per shake.
If I am buying just whey, it needs to be well under. I don't care about flavor, ever.

I usually am buying from supplementhunt.com these days. I have made everyone aware of this site and if you aren't buying stuff from them, you are nuts.

If you don't like whey or just want a a great deal, then RedCon1 is running a 50% off sale. You can get protein well under $1/serve now. The MRE Lite is a great deal right now. No whey and low carbs, 4 grams I think.

Bottom line is that if you aren't buying day old bread, brown, discounted meat and foods that are sub-par, why would you but cheap ass protein? FFS, this is where your results come from, not "fire" steroids or gimmicky training methods.
+1 on this

Supplementhunt.com is a godsend website

Loaded up on ag1, my intra workout nutrition and protein from here as well. Their prices are the best I’ve found and they have some decent brands. Occasionally they’ll even have optimum nutrition protein (my personal favorite) on sale ridiculously cheap but it sells out fast

They just got a bunch of Core pre’s. $15 instead of $50.

The Gorilla Mind Mass Gainer blends good, tastes good but is too sweet to make a second purchase.

You mean this one?
$30

Yes I have the Cookies 'n Cream, too sweet for my liking and leaves behind a very waxy texture.

some of those flavors out there sound great until you try to hand shake one or more in a row headed to your workout - like Ghost Cinnabon. Great idea turns out after trying it once it's throw up in a mixer bottle. I'll spend more for solid base flavors but eventually how often you gonna toss back cinnamon toast crunch shakes? Optimum Nutrition used to be pretty good but shits overpriced now.

You're right, tastes good at first, but after mixing it a few times it's like fuck I have to drink this again?

Next time I'll invest in a bulk vanilla powder.

I'm looking for something from Amazon for up to $60 with the most protein.

Any Suggestions?
When researching your protein and to get the most for your cash always compare the serving size with the actual amount of protein in that serving. You would be surprised at some of the very well known sports supplement companies use alot of fillers in their protein. I have found that Nutrobio, Dymatize, True Protein and a few other companies have the purest whey on the market.

BSN Synthesix protein....your 47G serving only has 22G of protein.....25G of filler....horrible.

Dymatize ISO100....your 30G serving has 25G of protein....only 5G fillers per serving.

I am using water too while I cut. I add ice and put it in a blendjet and it actually makes it more bearable, maybe it's the texture and how cold it gets🤷‍♂️.
Same I've been adding ice, I don't like to completely blend the ice in though, it just tastes like cold water. The texture of the crushed ice is definitely great.

It’s not “cheap” but it is one of the purest proteins out there. If you are going to use a protein supplement I would definitely choose quality before grabbing the cheapest container on the shelf.

I’ve bought that a few times, pretty good. Love the ingredient list.
Might go back to this when I run out of my Costco stock.

I liked Ascent that Costco carried forever.

Only ever buy choc, vanilla or plain of whatever I get. I also get an organic defatted peanut flour from Anthony’s to add to choc. Mixes well tastes fantastic.

My local Costco has the Ascent back in stock I just picked some up two weeks ago. I think they also ship it from their website. I actually tried Levels from their website and I've been enjoying it as well.

Mine still carries vanilla in store. Just checked the app, choc is back!
Thank you!!!
