Just started lingo today.

How is that compared to the libre? Mine is ok, it always hurts my arm close to the 2 week mark.. especially after
Lifting heavy or getting a pump…

This is my first day putting it on. Haven't tried libre to compare. Hoping to get some insight on gh effect and timing of meals and find more stable meals pre workout.

Have you found it useful to use?

Oh man that was my initial reasoning as well as weird blood sugar issues, reactive hypoglycemia and then whilst wearing this i found out my glucose drops whilst i sleep and ive been awaken many times with an alarm around 3 am telling me my glucose is below 60…

My glucose is odd

I went for BLOOD WORK about a week ago and I had it drawn at 0900 and I had eaten prior and I got my results and it showed that I still had low glucose at like a 67… weird as hell…

But my initial was to see how food affected it and to see how it was once i add gh… so i could combat the sides easier with as little surprises as possible

I wish everyone would use one to gauge how well their pancreas reacts to food.
There’d be no more guessing with insulin use when bulking.

I used to guess, do finger pricks a bunch of times over a few hours and other non-accurate stuff.
I bought a Freestyle Libre (the first versions are the ones I can get at Costco OTC) and was quite surprised how well my body regulates insulin and blood sugar. I look at waking, training, pre and post meals and everything seems to be functioning properly. Even when I am force feeding.

Unfortunately, last I used one, the Mexican coded version doesn’t allow for connection to my phone, so I use my test strip reader, which is dual funtion.
Also, mine pop off in a week or so, so I put Rock tape over it. Still, it stops reading by ten days, many times because the needle gets bent under my skin somehow.

Yeah I've noticed def a discomfort and tingling at times. Goof info so far though. I'm def that nerd while I have it to even see what different milk in the espresso is more stable:ROFLMAO:

So i chose a different spot in the fat fold above and behind the upper tricep head like in this lady’s video:

Its weird and today my glucose readings have all been between 86-105… a lot different than last week which had shown me lower 80’s for most of the week..

They do say to check with a blood finger check so i did and it was pretty accurate…

She has a weird clownish cut smile and its weird to me like she has had her cheeks cut near where her smile is… but i followed her tip on where to place this near the upper head of her tri

I got the G7. Paid for out of pocket. I use the Dexcom G7 app. Just started it yesterday afternoon. I made the decision to use a CGM because I've been having some disturbing problems that hit me on carb heavy meals. For about an hour or so after eating a carb heavy meal, upon standing, I lose ALL equilibrium. Last night I nearly fell down. CGM showd my BC was at 161 within 2 hours of my first bite, which scared the shit out of me. I monitor my BP daily, and I average about 108/74, so I knew it wasn't my BP. And since it only happens around the timing of my food, I was able to make the connection (especially after stumbling on this thread about a month ago).

I also am thinking that the max dose of retatrutide I'm on (12mg per week) is playing a BIG role as well. Starting next week I'll be titrating down to 5mg per week (10mg next Sunday, 7.5 mg the following week, and 5mg on week 3) in the hopes that the lower dosage combined with lower AND cleaner carbs will make a big difference.

Just some random thoughts here. Gotta say I'm grateful to be part of this community because I am learning so much more about my health and fitness besides just "gear", which frankly was the PRIMARY reason i joined this site a year ago (probaby the same reason most people initially sign up... they want to use and learn about gear). My health is my #1 priority, which is why I started this journey 28 months ago now, and this journey is soooooo much more than just taking gear. It's a true lifestyle.

One other thing I discovered (I always suspected but now have confirmation), which most if not all of you guys probably already know, is that BC rises after a PWO drink. It's purely a stimulant drink, but that's enough to raise the BC, which means I'm not actually WO in a fasted state, which i always thought I was. Sooooooo now I'm gonna cut out that PWO drink completely, starting tomorrow. The CGM is a GREAT tool to utilize for a variety of health and fitness reasons.

Its not like those are “healthy” concerning blood pressure and heart rate anyways…

Glad ur making changes and yes cgm’s can help but always test with a finger prick device to ensure ur cgm isnt lying to u…. If it shows sky high or super low, double check it… and if ur having dizzy spells it could be a host of things… potassium, magnesium, sodium issues etc… dont rely on them 100%….

Thanks for the feedback. What type of testing can / should I do to get to the bottom of this? I have a blood test mid-January, so I want to be able to tell my doc what additional test to run.

Get ur electrolytes and kidneys checked… id want to see how they are functioning, also get ur heart checked out, cholesterol. Cac (calcium score) Diabeetus… urine, to look for anything being low Or pissed out… check as much as possible… im sure others will have specific blood checks they will recommend…

If ur getting weird dizzy spells it could be caused by a plethera of things

I know im a reactive hypoglycemic… so after i eat my glucose shoots up, the bottom drops out and then it slowly starts to re raise… could also be something like this?

Not that I’m endorsing anything, but it’s not that black and white exactly. Pre workout stims like caff, ephedrine etc are directly increasing lypolisis. They are also raising liver glucose output to fuel the brain and muscles. While a great marker, higher bg doesn’t always mean ≠ fat. Take gh for example, we know it will raise BG to a degree. However we know because it is activating lypolisis and using fat for fuel with gh use, it results more circulating glucose.

Point is I guess that glucose levels aren’t an exact reflection of fat oxidation, especially when drugs/supps are at play. The physiological effects of what’s taken still need to be considered.

Fair point. I ended my CBG monitor experiment yesterday. I learned a lot and am shifting some of the things I'm eating in order to avoid those spikes. My coach also suggested berberine which has helped as we.
