Adding EQ and Proviron to my TRT

I've been on TRT for about a year, running test cyp at 250mg a week split into two shots. I will be adding in eq and proviron, and I'm thinking of running it at 300mg for the test and 300mg for the eq per week, along with 25mg of proviron per day. I also have AI on hand, but I may not need that with the proviron? Anyway, I'm just looking for recommendations, opinions, and any personal experiences you might have had with this combo.

Keep an eye on E2. Eq will be the cause of lowered estrogen not Proviron.
 
Why not just raise test to 400mg or 500mg per week instead of adding other compounds first?
 
Last labs have me at +1500, but I'm just not seeing the results I want. I feel fine, and I'm busting my ass in the gym, eating right, walking 6-8 miles a day...maybe it's just my age?

Don't expect cycle gains out of TRT dosing. It will take time. Long game.

That is not trt bud. You could probably get away with 160mg/week.

You should be very anabolic at where you are currently. If you aren’t progressing maybe look at diet, training, recovery, etc.

Adding EQ isn't going to do much if the above aren't dialed in.

I'm 56 and have been training most of my life. I'm currently at around 230lbs, carrying 20% BF. I'm looking to drop down to 10% BF and add retain or add some muscle mass.
 
That is not trt bud. You could probably get away with 160mg/week.

You should be very anabolic at where you are currently. If you aren’t progressing maybe look at diet, training, recovery, etc.

Adding EQ isn't going to do much if the above aren't dialed in.
I appreciate that, and I do feel like I'm pretty dialed in. I eat clean, no gluten, no sugar, limited dairy, and protein at about 1 gram per pound of bodyweight...I guess I need to dial it in a little more.

Dude, there’s a good chance EQ will make you hungry as fuck. I wouldn’t run that if you’re trying to diet down.
At 1500 test in your blood you shouldn’t have trouble retaining most muscle with proper diet.
Track your food, weigh EVERYTHING, if you don’t lose after a week, drop calories, repeat.
Track, track, track.

I've been using the HUME scale and everytime I lose weight my BF% goes up and my Muscle Mass goes down, and the opposite is true as well, I gain weight, my BF goes down and my Muscle mass goes up...everytime I see that I've lost weight, I'm afraid to check the metrics. I don't care about the weight, I care about the BF%.

Those scales are shit. I have one, and a garmin. Same shit. Says I’m 25% when I weigh over 260, 259 it drops to 16%, ??? Can’t rely on those.
Track your shit, take pics and compare, I seem to lose weight in areas. Like I’ll notice my legs are leaner while I’m focused on love handles, then it’ll be something else. 20 to 10% is a long fucking road bro.
Track your shit. Trust the process. If your test is high and protien is on point don’t worry so much about losing muscle. Even if you do once you’re leaned out where you want, it’ll come back with continued training, even on maintenance
 
Get a pair of skinfold calipers, you can find where and how to test online. Get a flex tape measure and measure neck, shoulders, chest, belly hips and thigh. You can add arms and calves too.
Track those numbers, not scale metrics.

Don't use those scales to determine BF. They aren't remotely accurate. Go by the mirror.

Proviron can help to increase free test. It is something I occasionally use and I don’t think it’s detrimental to your situation.

Have you tested your SBHG?

And I’m in the forget EQ camp as well.

You're 56, forget the proviron and spend that money on GH.

Best addition to TRT is low dose of Masteron and Proviron. Simple, Good luck.

Just a friendly suggestion: hold off on diving into AIs until you’ve got your work schedule set, ideally around the midway point—think week 5 or 6. This timing will give you a clearer picture of where your estrogen levels stand. Because sometimes EQ doesn’t always play by its intended rules. Some folks liken it to bicycle chain oil or dismiss it as a waste of an injection. However I begged to differ..

Now, here’s the kicker: boldenone can skew the estrogen ratio in some men due to lack conversion. But don’t worry, it’s not going to act like an anti-estrogen; think of it more as a regulator—similar to how certain DHTs interact with SHBG.

Your testosterone levels will look to be modest and conservative, so wherever your estrogen lands, it might just work in your favor. But remember, the real test will be your work results.

And let’s not forget about the addition of proviron! Who knows how much it might impact your SHBG, potentially lowering it and freeing up more testosterone while also reducing circulating estrogen.

This is precisely why, in the past, I’ve turned to EQ—not for its flashy upfront benefits, but for its subtle, behind-the-scenes magic during a recomp.

Looking ahead, I’m swapping EQ for primo. Just a thought: this might be a smart move for you too. Not only does primo deliver similar results, but its off-label benefits could be even more advantageous. X 20
