NTD

30 minutes of cardio done and getting 8K steps.

Was out last night for a family birthday dinner at a nice Italian steakhouse. True off plan meal for me. Went to town on the cold seafood tower and had some gnocchi. The real treat was the desert platter. Had a baked Alaska and then finished my wife’s panna cotta and my daughter’s butter cake. I don’t hold back on the sweets.

Woke up at 193 which matched my high from last week. Thought it would have been higher which I’m happy about. Don’t know ant to gain to fast.IMG_3176.jpeg

6/3 Lower

Back on track with progress on the biceps. Cut it back to two sets last session and I think that helped with today’s session. Threw in a second set on the pendulum and was able to hit the rep range I wanted at the same weight. So total of 4 sets for quads.

Picked up some Pharma T3 from Muscleshop. I have hypothyroidism and take Armour Thyroid which is both t3 and t4 because it is desiccated porcine thyroid. My recent thyroid panel showed t3 being in the middle of the range. In the past, I feel best when just outside the reference range. It is significantly cheaper for me to acquire this rather than schedule an appointment and paying for more armour.

I’m in a unique position to be able to interpret my thyroid number and convert dosages. This is strictly for medical purposes and not trying to leverage t3 for additional fat loss or anything like that.IMG_3177.jpegIMG_3178.jpeg

6/5 Check In

Average weight up to 191.2 for the week. Up 1.4 pounds from last week. No changes to food or gear.

I’m glad I have a coach who will keep me on track because I’ve been fighting this voice who is saying fuck it and just run a gram of test, whatever it takes. Need to stick to the plan and execute and that’s what I’m going to do. The thought just pops up from time to time.

My voice says jam 1000 carbs down today lol
Without a coach I'd be so fat again

6/7 Upper

Progress continues. 30 minutes of cardio after. Settling on 2 hours cardio/week split into 4 sessions. I think this strikes a good balance of cardiovascular health and decreasing overall expenditure. This way I don’t need as much food and keep the scale moving in a positive direction.IMG_3356.jpegIMG_3357.jpeg

I'm finally coming to peace with my cardio! I still hate though! LOL

Haven’t check in in a while. Not feeling the motivation to post the daily activities but I’m still putting in work.

Found some old pics in an app I no longer used and was blown away by the progress over the years.

First pic was natty and at the end of a cut. Weighed in at a whopping 155 pounds. Didn’t know shit about nutrition other than calories deficit gets fat off. It worked but I was sleeping on the importance of carbohydrates big time.

Fast forward to the other pic and that was my heaviest after the last push. 203 pounds.

I will still do the weekly check in. To come later IMG_3483.jpegIMG_3486.jpeg

6/13 Check in

Weight up 1 pound to 192 average for the week. Kurt wants to bump the food up on training days. Will be going to 800g of carbs. Protein and fat will stay the same.

He’s also talking about bumping the test in the next week or 2. Plan would be to go to 750.

Overall, training has been going well. Still making progress on most movements session to session. I had been doing 5 sessions with a U/L but I’m cutting it back to 4. Some days the lack of sleep is catching up to me and affecting me in a way I don’t like. My body can handle the training but I need to be sharp at work and some days it’s just not there.IMG_3487.jpegIMG_3488.jpegIMG_3467.jpegIMG_3476.jpeg

6/20 Check in

Up one pound on average since last week (193.1)

Sent my pics in and Kurt said I looked thick. Wasn’t sure how to take that one 🤣
But he assured me it was in a good way.

Keeping food the same but bumping the test up to 750mg and will ride that out for the foreseeable future.

Training has been great. Still making progress on most/all sets session to session. Still have baseline cardio in 4x week for 30 minutes a pop. Consistently getting my steps on top of that.IMG_4028.jpegIMG_4027.jpegIMG_3911.jpegIMG_3919.jpeg

A little update.

I’ve been experimenting with DSIP that I got from Iron Lion.

I have no problem falling asleep but I always wake up once and wanted to see if this stuff lived up to the hype.

Last Friday, tried 250mcg. No change in falling asleep but woke up twice and was up at my normal morning time.

Last Saturday, tried 500mcg which is the dose most people have a response to. Again, no change in falling asleep and woke up once. Still woke up at normal morning time.

Overall, I’m not impressed which has been my opinion of any peptide I’ve tried. Always have gone in skeptical. I just think most of these peptide pushers are just trying to make a buck with their affiliate codes and any benefit is purely placebo.

The only “peptides” that work are GLPs, insulin and GH.

Since I have a kit, I’ll try 500mcg again and if I have the same lack of response, I’ll try 750mcg. If that does nothing, experiment over and kit will be tossed.

You gotta follow the scientific process... when performed properly, the truth is always evident. Looking forward to the completion of your experiment.

Was about to order some DSIP this week. I’ll wait now to see if you have any change. I always wake up a few times a night.

But broh, Vigorous Steve and a bunch of +20% bf asf members say they can "feeeeeeel peptides working. :)
I don’t know of many good coaches that use other than the things you mentioned. The real bodybuilding world and steroid forums are too totally different things. If all of these peptides were so amazing all competitors be using them? But yet they don’t. 😉

I tried AOD9604 a while back. I truly can't say if it it did anything. I sweated on the overnight for a minute... but it's tough to say. Especially with a "fat burner" like the AOD because it is supposed to burn deep body fat? IDK... I Agree, BPC and TB give results.

Steve keeps hinting that guys on the Olympia stage are using the mitochondrial peptides but who knows if he’s telling the truth

These two did absolutely nothing for me when I had a shoulder flare up a couple years back. used for quite a while and escalated doses appropriately. I wanted to believe, even if it was a placebo effect

Just a ploy to get people to buy Dr. Dean's product line as he did with Amino Asylum pushing all their peptides.

The World has had the ultimate mitochondrial coupler for about 100 years now and its DNP. Not even close. SLU, Mot-C, all that stuff is insignificant.

BPC-157 is one of the only things that is 100% legit if real. TB500 is not and haven't used on myself or clients in years. Top surgeons don't even use it.

TBF….most orthopedic guys I’ve asked have no idea what nandrolone is and that there are published studies about it with hip fracture patients. The very people they operate on 🤣. Just give granny some nandrolone bro
