Ive never talked directly to him about it. But in some of the lives that he does, he always says that he works with super heavyweights. If they aren't supers now, he puts the size on them to become supers. If you try and feed a super heavyweight 200g of protein, or a "low protein diet" (in the bodybuilding world), they freak out and think they are catabolic 24/7. I think it's just not worth his time trying to baby every client, and let them know everything is going to be okay.

It would be a nightmare trying to rewire every large bodybuilders mind, and change the entire industry with the protein thing.
I don't know if any of you follow him closely, but he went on a terror with this throughout 2024. Almost every interview he did on youtube, he dives into the math of how ridiculous 300g-500g of protein is. If our body even used 12.5g of protein a day for new muscle tissue, that would be 10lbs of actual tissue added each year. 25g/day would be 20lbs of tissue. Obviously our body uses protein to fix and rebuild damaged cells around our body, but its not anywhere close to an additional 300g/day. Probably more like 25-50g/day. Once you do the math, its actually pretty crazy how much protein everyone eats. Seems like a waste of digestive energy on the body when you could just eat the carbs directly that the unused portion of protein will eventually be converted to.
