I agree and if you have back injury’s they are alternatives to the preferred movements.I was the biggest guy at PF this last weekend out of town and I’m not even bigcouple very lean guys stood out other than that it was dad bod central in muscle ts. At least there was some sexy chicks. PF is nothing more than a back burner travel gym imo. I really care about the equipment, you can make gains pretty much with barbells, dumbbells and other simple old school equipment, but there’s some nice pieces of equipment out there that just “feel right” every time. When I find that mind muscle connection on whatever piece of equipment I spam it.
I like that equipment.Love arsenal equipment. That was most of the equipment at my old gym. 70 something a month.
I would say correction officers from state, then patrol and city.I think mine is like 30 a month.
I still to this day have never stepped foot in a PF. The 10 dollars a month is tempting. I thought one day I would just go see what they actually have to work with but I haven't done it yet.
I think someone else said it, you don't need a ton to get your work in. I remember seeing Shaw and Hall in a video in a PF and it seemed like at least some of the machines were ok. They would have to have a decent amount of free weights.
Saw someone else mention Powerhouse. That used to be the preferred cop workout spot in my area till they closed. Now half of those guys go to my gym and the other to LA Fitness.
Question for all. Is it me or do county cops in general tend to use more gear vs city cops and state cops? Where I'm at the biggest mofos are always county, well that and a lot of correctional officers are BBs in their spare time.
i like hammer strength also.I like lots of hammer strength equipment. I used to have a really hardcore gym near me but it didn't get enough biz. Place had a ton of free weights and hammer strength. Nothing really flashy at all though. You could have had all ASFers in there. There were few women and the ones that were there were pretty damn big.
Ok, fuck you.
Is bread that heavy?Zero

Lol we have one of those convoluted hip thrust hammer machines. No shortage of spandex flexing on it.Only two Smith machines? Where do the other 12 chicks do their hip thrusts?
Power house?30 a month with unlimited tan
A dumb fuck many of us have the misfortune of coming across often says if you work a physically demanding job, just try to do less physically demanding work at your job.Zero

Negative. a small local gymPower house?

Very jealous!Just guessing cause they all in my state charge the 30bucks.Negative. a small local gym
You’ll be in my prayers brotherLeaving my small gym and going back to a new PF. It’s just too overcrowded. I originally left PF because the dumbbells stopped at 55, but I’m primarily pressing on a smith machine now anyway.
I found a similar gym but cost 50month. Owned by a young body builder. The gym is a gym.Im a member of a local gym thats now 40/month and very worth it. Lots of rogue cages, can do banded lifts and at least 15 spots for squats. Olympic and deadlifting platforms with boxes. Reverse hyper, belt squats, a few Hammer strength and cardio equipment. Specialty bars, strongman equipment, tires, hammers, dumbbells go to 200lbs and we also have 100lb plates.
You’ll be in my prayers brother
Honestly both have advantages cause we all have different needs to work around injury’s and nerve condtions.Haha why you say that? Smith machine is the best for pressing due to stability and ability to safely go to failure. Pretty much any machine is better than free weights.
The gyms are 24/7 most of them. People making excuses to not train.A dumb fuck many of us have the misfortune of coming across often says if you work a physically demanding job, just try to do less physically demanding work at your job.
This will help you if you want to gain weight and most importantly, you will then have extra energy for the gym!
I regret what ever we fought about cause your a good dude.Very jealous!

Yeah we def share that trait.I regret what ever we fought about cause your a good dude.
I can’t remember what it was. The problem is we both have the same mental mentality and aren’t going to all put up with each other until the problem is done.
Im not sure we had a disagreement but it didn’t get negative.Yeah we def share that trait.
I don't think me and you ever butted heads though. If we did, I don't remember.
I train at a gym called America Gym in Chicago area…75 a month and it’s legit the best equipment I’ve ever seen. Well worth every pennyNew local gym owned by an ifbb pro and her husband also a BBer is ready to open up. Jumped on their stater deal @45 a month then it goes up after the 1st few hundred sign ups. Also got 2 other memberships at my current gym @35 and good old planet fitness that I always keep around for when I travel as there is always one wherever I go @25 I believe. So I’m at over @100 a month on gym memberships currently. How much are y’all paying? Simply wondering average gym membership cost around the country.
Gym doesn’t have much
