I am in day 6 of a 16 week cycle which consists of 200mg/EOD test prop, 200mg/EOD Eq, 30mg/ED DMT, 5iu HGH/ED and Aromasin 12.5 E3.5D. When walking around I start to feel pressure on my lower back, kinda feels like you just did a few max reps and have that hard stiff feeling only this hurts and it makes me have to bend over cause I can't take the pain. I am well hydrated, I drink about 3 liters of water per day and I take a multivitamin complex on top of the cycle. This has never happened to me before so this is new territory for me and I don't know what to do. Is there a supplement perhaps I am in need off? I saw a few other threads about back pumps but I don't see any real resolutions in them. Can anyone help me get rid of these or at least minimize them so that I can walk upright and not hunched over like hunchback of Notre-dame ? Any help is well appreciated guys.

Whats in taurine that help with back pump I was wondering, whats the exact process that it helps with back pumps.
I don't know to be honest. Maybe some one else does. Lots of guys on here use taurine for this purpose. I just know it works.

Hydrate, Hydrate and when your finished hydrate some more
3 liters isn't enough for a guy that's 183cm in height and weighs 115 Kilograms ? That's 5'11 in the US and 253 lbs just in case anyone is wondering.

I found this on the internet

Taurine is known to help balance electrolytes in the kidneys. Taking Taurine is probably the most helpful thing you can do for back pumps.

I am deffo going to the pharmacy tomorrow, even I am bent over and getting a shitload of taurine, and if they don't carry it I am sure I can order it online no problem.

By the way I was wondering about the possibility of over hydrating and causing water intoxication syndrome, 3 liters is plenty of water, its two 1.5 liter bottles of Spring water. On top of those 2 bottles I drink a juice in the morning with my breakfast and one during supper when I go to bed so maybe 3.25 liters total liquid in my body.

Since you posted this in the over 40 category, I'll add one more thing to watch. Kidneys. You didn't mention any orals, so I'm not blaming that, but kidney pain is no joke and not to be played around with. IF it is your kidneys. Lots of guys complain about lower back thinking it is muscle and it is actually their kidneys getting pissed off.

I drink about 1 gallon maybe a little more a day and don't worry about it.

I did mention one oral I am on, Dimethyltrienolone aka DMT @ 30mg/ED, it's a derivative of nandrolone and is very close in action as Anavar only about three times the potency. And it does not aromotize, so that's a big plus.

Listen to @Powerhousehb - He's spot on. I'm guessing but, since I'm a Var user& get back pumps when I max out that oral, its the DMT Dose. Maybe pair that down a little as well as taking Taurine, Mag & Potassium + 1 gallon water / day minimum

Fuck my reading comprehension any more. Shit. :roflmao:

That could very well be it. My best bud irl can't run orals any more due to this. His kidneys will start killing him a week in. Nothing helps in the supplement support department either. Orals ain't your friend and they turn into full blown enemies after 40. Just mho. Never mind if you start getting stones...

I recently had a yearly doctors appointment in which I had my kidneys checked out, he did blood tests, those came out great, very low creatinine, and I had an ultrasound done as well of my kidneys and bladder and both came out clean. I don't think my back pumps are kidney related, I think it's just the muscles that are going bonkers, but hey I am not a doctor so I can't be 100% sure.

That's good. Seriously. Now for my anecdotal "bad news"....my buddy's was always clean too, but he was always well off cycle when he got them. So no idea what things may have looked like while on. I kept telling him it was kinda pointless to check two months after he had "recovered" from whatever was going on.

Anyway, guys will do what they want to do and I don't fault anyone for doing their own thing. Most of us here are about self experimentation obviously. But there is a definite reason most old timers don't run orals (methyl in particular). In the end, we all find our own way and likes/dislikes.

Bud the reason I say hydrate is because it sounds like you are possibly dehydrated. Maybe I’m wrong but I do know that you can drink 10 gallons of water a day and still be dehydrated. This is why I will never understand why these guys on here are always preaching to drink gallons and gallons of water. Yes H2O is obviously good for us to drink on normal days in moderation but when your on cycle your body needs more than water to stay PROPERLY hydrated especially when pushing your body way past normal limits. If you owned a race car would you use regular gasoline in it or racing fuel?

That makes sense, I didn't look at it that way, I will add a third 1.5 liter bottle making it a total of 4.5 liters to my daily regimen and see if that helps any, thanks for the tip much appreciated.

3 liters is only 101 fl oz which really isn’t that much. I drink around 2 gallons a day which is 256 fl oz. With being on your feet, training, and the added supplements you’re gonna need a lot of water. All the above supps are important as well though in combination with hydration.

Like Insaid brother I could be totally wrong with this one. I just know from my experience working with fighters that many of them don’t realize what dehydration is and how damaging it can be to even their everyday life. AThey come in with their fancy little water cooler cup thingy thinking yeah I got my hydro covered. Haha they find out real quick all the shit dehydration causes. Anyway that’s my experience. I would also probably piggy back off of what Multi was saying about orals. I’m learning quickly that you older fellas ( no disrespect) seem to have alot of issues when adding orals to the mix. I’m not there in age yet but I see it more and more. Good luck brother. I hope it works out for you. These other guys hit all the bullet points of the OTC help. Has to get better

Alright I will try to drink 4 1.5 liter bottles and see if that helps. I am going to be running to the bathroom like a preggo lady every 30 minutes . I work as a investor, so I don't do any manual labor so I don't sweat all that much during the day, I do sweat a ton when lifting or doing HIIT so I may not need 2 gallons but I will go up with the water in small increments and see how it's effecting me.:)

Oh hell yea! I love my bathroom breaks man. I spread about 3/4 of it through the day and the rest while I workout. I could kill a whole gallon when I first wake up in the morning if I didn’t have to pull weights first.

I went to the local Gemini pharmacy and they indeed carry generic Taurine 1000mg, I picked up 4 jugs full of it and already made myself one drink with taurine added. We shall see the results as the day goes on. I am excited.

It's been a few days since I started 2000mg of generic Taurine and my backpumps have all but diminished, thanks guys I really mean it especially a big shot out to @Powerhousehb , @AR-15, @Ziath11, @Multislacking. Thanks for your time and your knowledge.

Your taurine is bunk. Here’s why: I’m on 40mg Tbol and my lower back was making me walk like a robot.

Went to Walmart and bought nutricost taurine 2g, took 4g two days ago and the pump is gone. I haven’t changed anything.

Quality always matters when it comes to supplements, Sir.

I understand where you are coming from, but my lower back pumps have gone away since I started supplementing with 3000mg/divided in 3 1000mg doses per day, so it can't just be placebo. I paid quite a bit for this Taurine, even though it's not one of your brand names ones it seems to do the job. It's from a very reputable pharmacy here.
