I want to preface this by saying I have absolutely no intention of using tren — I just see folks on these forums refer to it a lot, so I am curious if my understanding is correct or incomplete…

My understanding is it’s a steroid originally intended for livestock, causes major muscle gain and libido increase but also serious side effects and possibly psychopathic mental effects. Does that sum it up fairly?

What I am wondering is why is it more effective than test c, e or p? Why does it cause these mental effects? What is the typical dosage and timing that people use it, and when is it considered excessive?

Is there a simple way of explaining how much more muscle is gained by using tren?

Quite honestly, I am just fascinated by the implication guys behave differently (cheat on wives, etc.) and the fact that people seem to think it’s both awesome and dangerous.

Tren crosses the blood brain barrier and has a very large impact on the CNS, which tend to exaggerate traits such as anger, anxiety, fight or fight, lack of patience, need to be alpha, etc. Most anabolics do this, but tren is at the top of the list along with Halotestin. It's not like it turns a regular dude into a wife beater but will enhance the negative traits you already have.

Trensomnia (sleep issues), night sweats, cardiovascular, liver down the list your bloods will get pretty f'd up.

People dose way too high as a little goes a long way. It's also used by guys who shouldn't even be going near. The avg gym bro at +20% bodyfat has no business running. It shines when super lean eating very low calories trying to get shredded. It helps you hold onto muscle and give aggression during workouts when energy is low. This is why competitors will use it deep in contest prep. Bulking with it is not optimal.

So unless you compete or are in a profession where you need to be excessively shredded for a photoshoot or something, there are MUCH better alternatives.

Oh and the anabolic ratings chart above is extremely vague in reality. Was based on little data mostly in the 60-70's. What is on paper doesn't necessarily correlate to the effects within the body.
 
I ran lower dose Tren Ace first time ever just a couple months ago.

30mg EOD along with at that time also 50mg EOD of Test Prop and 50mg EOD of Mast E. I rotate delts and thighs and sometimes glutes. Thighs I use a 1 inch. Delts and glutes usually 5/8 slim pin. Both 27 gauge.

Overall I really liked it. It hardened me up and gave me quick strength increases and shredded fat and helped my body look better than it has in many years (I'm in the 49+ club for reference) in a very short time. Mentally I was very surprised to feel great on it as well. I felt calm and cool and very much in control. I was more in tune with my thoughts and my girl even mentioned a few things of her appreciating some little things she noticed I was doing that she liked; this was in every day things as well as some things in the bedroom. Felt good looked good fucked good exactly what I want out of the rest of my life (as long as healthy and possible).

BUT the trensomnia coupled with puddle buidling night sweats was and unfortunately still is (even after being off a few weeks now) very real for me. I went from 7 good hours of sleep a night to 4 hours of not the greatest sleep a night. All while pushing harder in the gym. That really starts to take a toll on an old boy and I had to stop at 8 weeks even though I really wanted to go another month. I'm a few weeks off now and cruising on a test cyp/test iso/mast e blend and I am still sleeping shitty and night sweating and overall tired. That said the fat I lost remains mostly off and I've kept most of the strength increases so far (a bit early to tell though). I'm hoping my sleep will level and even out more in time. It's my understanding the 19 NORs can remain in your systme for some time even after discontinuing use.

All in all I can see where Tren has it's place and some people really like it. Overall it went wildy well for me and I will definitely use Tren A this way again in the future. I will however only do it during late spring into summer when I am even healthier as I sun worship for 5 months, and sleep less then naturally too.

Lol you ran it for 8 weeks and are still suffering after stopping weeks later lol.

The lack of sleep alone is a reason not to run it. That 3 hours of difference a night can reduce weight loss/hypertrophy significantly. Sleep is a must.

I am retired from taking tren but when I did I never every experience anger or rage issues. I never went over 300mg per week either. The most common sides that hit me every time was hiccups, heartburn, tren cough and sleep disturbance.

But bro…TREN, man!

Again with my moto analogy:

Dude digs motorcyles. Wants to buy one. Find that the Yamaha R1 is one of the baddest ass bikes you can buy at a reasonable price. Literally capable of racing right off the showroom floor. But dude doesn’t want to race. He just wants to look cool.
The problem lies inthe extra costs. Insurance is insanely expensive because industry Xmods show lots and lots of payouts onthat model. Because of this and the fact that the bike is dangerous if not respected and used properly, it can and may kill you, quicker than you might expect. So you need instruction, aka coaching. But you’ve watched a lot of YouTubes and races and squid shit on tv, so you figure that coach cost is a waste when you can spend money on something like race fuel which will really supercharge your “experience”. Hell, you may even decide that you actually do want to race and so first season, you are “going for your pro card”.

In the end, you crash, end up giving up on riding and probably have health problems from the experience.

But it looked and sounded so cool on tv.
 
I tend to get the crazy mental effects a few weeks in and if you don’t notice it and are not experienced. You will lose everything before you know it!!!
 
Why? Well if you are a dumbass like me you'll use it because you bought 6 vials out of the gate lol

One cycle was amazing and another was horrible. I'm too much of a tight ass to throw it all away. So I've been playing with doses to see what will work for me. So far I'm finding 80-120mg per week is perfect. A little irritation but the night sweats aren't bad and insomnia is no worse than it is. Any other time. You have to be extremely careful with that stuff. I can't understand why some guys use high doses. You get plenty of results with just 80mg.

Anyway tight or not if I have any sides like before I'm tossing it. The only products I plan to use going forward are:
Dbol
Winstrol
Test
Mast
Primo
Deca
And EQ (until my stock is gone)

You really don't need anything else. Low doses are always the best route!
 
If you have clinically diagnosed depression, PTSD, OCD, ADHD. Tren is a real bad idea. It fucked me up mentally, bad, real bad. I suppose if you are of sound mind and have no history of those illnesses you might be gtg. But thats just a guess.

Some swear by tren hex due to reduced side effects. I read somewhere that body builders of 80s and 90s only used 76mg a week with great results.

Everyone is different but I'm telling ya 80-120 is just right! I also always work my way to the 80mg. First week 40mg, 2nd week 60mg, and 3rd 80.
 
Don't put too much weight in that chart.
I was wondering the same thing — what is that stuff? Is anyone using it? With those numbers, seems like you might inject it and have your balls explode or something…
 
Tren makes me feel like Achilles 24/7. Honestly it’s milder than harsh orals such as halotestin. Halo gave me acute pancreatitis before comp one time. Couldn’t go on stage. Tren the first few times were fine but never took it over 300. 250 I feel was the sweet spot. And never enanthate, just acetate so if it got bad I could jump ship quicker. The way it makes my body look is just insane, but it doesn’t make you bigger per se at least in my experience. Even the strength gains aren’t the best compared to others. For me it was the look it gave. It did jack my liver and raise ldl. It’s a no go for me these days but I’m not opposed to running it again at 150 for 8 weeks for a summer cut cycle or contest prep

The chart is nonsense. It was based on Hershberger's Bioassays Conclusions based on rats' studies that were not even controlled. It's a clusterfuck and those who have ran these compounds at different dosages no damn well the ratios are bullshit.
 
Oh I forgot to mention the sex. Tren made me hornier than any other compound or drug I’ve ever taken, I mean the level of horniness is undescribable . Like my wife just thinks my test levels are elevated but little did she know, the tren was lurking deep inside 😂

I know that halotestin doesn’t feel like 19x more than test when I use it.
Maybe I am just a pussy since I don’t rage, beat my old lady or become some street tough.
