Whats causing my high blood pressure

when I was younger, I could take 100 mg of var every day for months at a time and not have any problems, the same with dbol, Winstrol wouldn’t even bother me if it wasn’t for the elbows back then, I guess shit changes when you hit your 40s. I have a iron gut too but var nowadays makes me nauseous

I took 3 cycles of it last year with zero issues

Everyone calls Var "mild". Tren doesnt nuke my lipids or liver enzymes as bad as Anavar. Its always the 1st thing someone throws into a TRT+ regimen and it has the lowest ROI in my opinion.
Tbol is the same. At least for me. The strength gains are good and I feel good on it but it's supposed to mild and used as a bridge... Blows my lipids and crit up. I would still recommend it but it's not a mild substance.

I'm using 40 mg/d right now. My BP is 115/74 this morning and RHR is 61. Another time under different circumstances it could be a different story, so many variables. Tomorrow my Director could be a total A-hole, my car should shit the bed and they could both go up.

The list for the root cause of HBP can go on for pages. No one here can tell you exactly what caused yours to spike. Stress, anxiety anything can cause the spike. I would recommend taking your BP once per day when you first wake up in the morning before anything else and go from there. Good luck brother.

Agreed. Nothings without its drawbacks. Turanibol is a great performance enhancer, really good for making those veins pop as well. Never seen much size on the 3 runs ive had with it but def get a stength boost...id still choose Tbol over Anavar.

If you have high body fat and shit diet it will run your blood pressure up once you add typically any anabolics when I was chubbier running trt my blood pressure stayed at 140 over like 80 I think the doctors just told me I had normally high blood pressure once again dont always listen to the doctor now that I'm leaner and keep a stricter diet mine is typically 120 or 115 some times with anabolics added no BP pills or anything

Do you know your RBC, hematocrit, and iron? Those out of line can run BP up, too — as Wiseguy stated, there’s a ton of different causes.

Some people view Bodybuilding like a priesthood/religion so don't eat a potatochip or you will get blasted like you have blasphemed their god.
I wont eat potato chips b'cuz I know I'll shit water for a week.
Been craving a pizza for years now.....I'm too afraid to get the squirts!

This is the only advise in this thread I’d take. The rest is pure conjecture and opinion. Any decent doctor will tell you to do a bp log. Check it in the am and pm at the same time each day. I’ll also suggest you get a simple cbc to see if your htc/hmg aren’t affecting your bp, which is often the case. They creep over time and can cause issues like you’ve described.

If you want to insult everyone go to the Pit.

It’s not an insult.

Telling someone to take medication, clean up a diet or up the cardio, without verifying their symptoms via bloodwork, is irresponsible and misleading.

With your background, you of all people, should understand this.
