The attention from random women and some fellas. For the record I’m happily married and not looking to change that. I started TRT /AAS about 2 years ago 5”9 40m (240s to 180s). I look like a different person. I was always an outgoing/talkative person being in sales my whole life, I can talk to anyone. With that being said I’ll always be nice, make conversation (if appropriate), do that fake smile if I make eye attention, etc. Unfortunately some take that as the opening.

I’m not Brad Pitt, I’m 40, bald, bad tattoos, etc and still get 100 times more attention than I did at 21. Maybe it’s I’m not hitting on them and it’s an easy target. I dunno. In Key West a few weeks ago, a 22 year old and 50+ year old were both trying hard the first place I walked into.

Again I’m not looking for the attention (it’s nice not gonna lie) My question does anyone else notice the insane amount of attention since really getting into better shape or maybe my high test levels are warping my brain 🤣🤣🤣.

No you're not crazy, it's definitely real. I'm in a very happy relationship with my best friend and she's absolutely gorgeous, super adorable, and cool as fuck, so I have no interest in anyone else, but yeah the attention is real. It's flattering for sure but can also be annoying.

Overall though the positives outweigh the negatives. People just treat you differently when you walk into a room, there's a certain commanding quality of being in really good shape. And then especially if you're in really good shape after 40, I think there's a certain kind of respect people afford you, as being in great shape at that age signifies years of hard work,. discipline, diligence, and good decisions.

Bonus points for good skin (hyaluronic acid during the day, retinol/tretinoin at night, it's easy) and knowing how to dress appropriately for your body, age, and the situation (tank tops and bright colored sneakers are for the gym, not for business functions or dinner dates).

Long story short, people respect and are attracted to people who obviously know how to take care of themselves, it makes you look like a valuable mate and a good person to do business with.

I just turned 60 and I don't get that much anymore but when I do it is flattering and makes me feel good. BUT... I will have to add that it depends on who it's coming from. I'm no prince charming by any stretch but I think everyone has their standards. Even at my age sometimes I'm like aww hell naw. 😂 Other times it can be a very attractive woman in her 40's or 50's that has that look in her eye when she smiles. You know that look. Undeniable window to the soul look. She doesn't have to say a word. Then you look at her ring. Sum-uv-a-bitch. I don't mess with girlfriends or married women. That's dangerous. I've seen what can happen and my conscience won't let me anyway. But yeah, it's always an ego tweak and makes your day for a bit. No. You're not crazy. 👍

I always get positive comments from guys. They stare, look, ask questions, you look great boss, you are jacked boss, how can I be like you boss, but the girls never look LOL. FACT.

People stare for sure… and when it comes to females, they are either in shock and awe, or scared to death. There’s NEVER any sexual attention or interest involved 😆lol.. one extreme or the other it seems.

Black girls and gay dudes are the only ones who go out of their way to maybe cat call ya 😂 …that's my personal experience in 33 years of bodybuilding anyways lol

So right brother! 😆 the black girls love a jacked white dude. I get attention from black chicks 5x as much as white chicks. Maybe its because they're personality is different but either way facts are facts. And to the OP yes absolutely, its not in your head its real. We are desensitized to how we look. When was the last time you've walked past somebody that even held a candle to how you look? Outside the gym obviously. I cant tell you the last time I was in general public and crossed paths with a dude bigger than me. And its almost always older white dudes who comment on how I look lol
