What movement is 10/10, that everyone should be doing?

Not a bodybuilding exercise but it’s improved the fuck out of my posture and movement patterns which has made things like squatting 100x better. I used to squat and never could tell you what was working. It was just like my lower body was working but never had much of a MM connection.

Been doing “active cobra” for a few weeks through an EGOSCUE program I signed up for to try to help my hip and leg after tearing my hamstring and being left with nerve issues.

It’s reset my hips and posture to the point that running no longer impacts my knees at all and any squat or lunge movement is felt exactly where it should be felt. I’ve seen more improvements in my lower body strength, mobility and hypertrophy from leg days after doing active cobras to reset my posture than I did in easily a year of legs traditionally.

You mean there is more than bench, squat and row? 😝This should be a fun one.

I think people get more advanced and often forget the basics that are always going to do what you need or got you bigger and stronger in the first place.

One of those, for me personally found again recently that I forgot about, is good old fashion leg press (plate version if possible). Really starting to help me get my legs back. If you are serious about big legs it’s a must do imho.

Upper body I feel the same about barbell rows. Great upper body compound movement you build back arms shoulders even legs and core if you pull heavy and stabilize properly. 💪. Never see the youngins doing them though.

It's an old but tried and true..
10 sets of 10..
I use it on bench..flat or incline..
The "Original " concept is a weight one can easily do 7 sets with..Keeping the weight the same throughout all 10 sets..

Over the years, of in and out of the gym, pressing Restart till the letters have worn off..
After a few weeks,my strength returns and I start to increase the weight, Keeping the reps at 10 per set..

I was skeptical about it at First..
100 reps is 100 reps..
Also..buy adjusting the rest between and the Neg to poss tempo..
I've found it to be great for both..returning after a long break..
AND..
A nice way to break up a boring routine..
