I started on Tirzepatide and am slowly titrating off and switching to Reta at a more manageable maintenance dose.

Smart. Reta was amazing for me at low doses but cranked my resting heart rate into high gear at 6mg. I dropped it back down to 2mg and all is good again. I feel like gear kicks in appetite no matter what so there’s no reason to take a higher Reta dose unless you’re really needing to lose a lot of weight.

Definitely hit the ceiling/threshold with the Tirz. What’s the plan with the GLPs—cutting fat, keeping the liver’s glucose load down, or working on appetite/brain signaling? I’ve really liked Reta when it’s paired with Cagrisema.

I think using Reta primarily for fat loss really undersells its broader benefits. The glucagon component adds a powerful boost for energy balance and substrate utilization. In my view, it’s also far more effective—and better at reducing visceral fat for many people—than the other GLPs.

Anyway, I don’t want to derail the main topic of the thread… my apologies.

No, I completely agree with you. But the glucagon aspect is what drives those benefits and side effects. I definitely got those benefits, but it’s also what drives the body hotter which raising heart rate is the effect I didn’t want as much of. I used to be a heavy drinker and it literally cured my fatty liver and decreased visceral fat in a crazy way. But my body got to the point where it told me it didn’t need as much anymore. Lowering the dose solved it. Definitely didn’t need to lose any more weight either.

I’ve already noticed a slight increase in Heart rate since adding in the Reta.. not a fan of that honestly. I’m going to stay at 4mg for a little while and see how it goes. I do have Propanolol I could always take to keep the HR more stable but idk.

Honestly crazy. It’s the only compound that’s ever done that to me. Even high dose tren I just feel a little more aggressive and antisemetic than usual.
That’s tough man. Nandrolone does wonders for my brain. Calms me down, I’m more mellow, I only felt like shit when I don’t control estrogen or prolactin. that and it makes my adhd meds weaker

I feel those are the main things you have to control besides knowing how your dopamine may take a hit too.
