100%. Like you said, it’s all bullshit. Democrats are a fuckin mess, Republicans are a fuckin mess. The whole system is a sham to divide us. Fuck the government on both sides. I lean Republican because I’ve got no choice, but I’m still conservative on my own terms. I can’t back the crazy shit coming from the left. My line in the sand is “kid grooming”, that’s non-negotiable. Amongst many other issues, I can't get behind.

It feels like some outside force infiltrated the Democratic Party, and for obvious reasons it worked, it's just not humanly possible to be that irresponsible with your views. Republicans aren’t perfect, but at least they’re not buying into that bullshit.

It’s obvious to me the goal is to break down the family unit even more, hollow out America from the inside, and push us toward some kind of one-world government, even if I don’t fully get why. And now the American flag, the literal symbol of freedom, is called racist and divisive by a lot of people. It’s fucking insane. Feels like they’ve already won. I havent been to mass in like 20 years, altho I read the bible, my wife would say Im not religious since I dont attend, or sit at home studying. She has elders over and they study and she goes out witnessing. I attend church with my wife a couple times a year but I dont think I could ever call myself a JW. To people that arent religious Im probably your basic christian, to those at church Im probably not.

I see, may I ask if you believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ for your sins? If so, I would likely classify you as a believer. 1 Cor 15 1-4.

Catholics and JW's tend to add works as a requirement (and they have good reasons) but I personally would not.

yes, I believe in the trinity and jesus died for our sins. Im just not interested in attending a church, not into pomp and circumstance, wife thinks Im anti-social, I probably talk more to you guys than my actual friends

"Church" today is nothing like the first century church. I'm not talking about synagogue but rather the Jew/Gentile church that spun out of Judaism once the Jews rejected Messiah in Acts 7. Notice that they met in each others homes, broke bread and encouraged one another. Paul teaches that the church is fellow believers coming together sharing their strengths and gifts. Not a building where someone preaches to you from a stage. The believers would come together and participate in encouraging and building up each other. That's it. I think the closest thing to 1st century church is a small group of believers meeting in homes. Modern church is not very participatory today. Its almost become a spectator sport.

Works are a natural outpouring of ones belief. However works are not what save us today under the dispensation of grace. Its faith in Christ's finished work and Gods grace. His righteousness is imputed to us when we believe. Just as our sin was imputed to Christ on the cross. He takes our punishment and we get His righteousness.

Ephesians 2:1-10 show the sequence.
