The Gasman Files

Curious as well how the EQ is helping with E2.. most likely running it my next go around also! Looking good man!

1/24 weekly check in

Average weight was 191 for the week. An increase of 1.5 pounds from last. Not much change from a conditioning standpoint. Holding pretty tight.

E2 came back at 42pg/ml. After consultation and personal reflection. I’m going to drop the gear down. I have the test:EQ ratio down and I just don’t think I need to run 1.4 grams of gear for where I’m currently at. Seems like a waste. Test will go to 750mg and EQ down to 300. GH will stay at 9 IU.

Not making any changes to food. weight trending in the right direction, condition is holding and my sessions in the gym have really turned up a notch.

Only switch is rearranging my cardio. Instead of five 20 minute sessions, I’m going to condense it to two 45 minute sessions in my non lifting days. I’ll hit the steps like usual in the other days.

These were taken this morning fasted, 191 on the dot.

1/31 weekly check in

Average weight up to 191.5 (0.3 pound increase). Overall condition continues to look good. Training continues to be stellar. Putting all the food back. Doing my cardio/steps. Nothing crazy to report. Not going to change anything.

Looking great man chest is nutty

Are you calling the shots this push or are you working with Kurt again?
All me brother. I’ll link back up with Kurt when it’s time for prep. I have so much data from working with him that I feel very comfortable doing this

I know your carbs are already high on TD, but what made you decided to add fats over more carbs. Are you to the point where insulin sensitivity is decreasing or where the load of carbs just isn't leaving the bloodstream fast enough before your next meal?

Little tweaks like this in an offseason intrigue me.

You nailed it. They are already so high. Between pre/intra/post i consume almost half the days amount in that time. Performance is high, insulin sensitivity is good. I’ve been really low fat for so long and I’m kind of tired not having the flexibility with some foods. Many would say 40g of fat is still pretty low. Looking ahead, I don’t have any intention of going over 40g.

I did bump the carbs by 50g on training day in addition to fats. I wanted a good overall calorie bump.

Next bump or any thereafter would be carbs only

Had a real nice lower session.

Finally put 3 PPS on the arsenal pendulum. This was an increase of twenty pounds total from the last session where I got 8 reps. I thought with 3 PPS I would have got 4, maybe 5 but ended up with 6. This was a huge set. Squat strength has been responding very well lately so hopefully this will continue

My lower quad focus looks like this lately, rep range is always 4-10

Adductor x2-3
Leg extension x3
Pendulum x2
Leg curl x3
Calves x3

Weekly check in.

191.75 which is up 0.75 pounds from last week but only 0.25 pounds up from high of the push phase which was two weeks ago.

Still looking good from a condition standpoint. Going to keep food the same for another week. I had a small bowl of ice cream a couple times this week as something “off plan” even though I tracked it. Just had it on top of what I was already eating.

I’m dropping the Reta. I’ve been having these skin sensations for the last month or so all over my back and legs. Like pins and needles. Allodynia is a known side effect of Reta which is usually described as a painful response to something that isn’t usually painful. I personally wouldn’t describe this as allodynia, more like dysesthesia. Either way, it was a good experiment but at this point where I’m trying to push body weight, I don’t think it’s necessary. I would use it again, but in a diet phase.
