Thanks for that info. My other question is about compounding pharmacies. I know from listening to Brigham Bueler (sp) that the FDA is extremely strict on their production and quality control standards, even more so than they are on big pharma. If my test was coming from a local compounding pharmacy, would the purity be higher than 97.9% consistently?

short answer for this, 97.94% purity is accepted within the pharmaceutical grade, usually mesasured by HPLC.
it is not unusual to have raws purity above 97.9 - to 99% purity

the most important is the manufacturing status for GMP
which reuqiires GMP certified facility, full batch records and validating process and stability data.

in this case, 97.94% is good purity, we're having a few other tests done on another labs as we speak.
