How long and where can you safely store un-reconstituted peptides without them losing potency?

Thanks guys

Do not put them in the back of the fridge where it’s coldest. Make sure your fridge is in a lower setting not the coldest. You now the front door that opens? Sometimes there’s a spot with a little plastic cover for butter n shit? That’s the best place. Want to keep it cool but not cold to prevent denaturing of the product. Hope this helps big smoke

How about un-reconstituted in the freezer if storage is for 6 months?

This I’m not sure. Before reconstitution I always leave mine in a cool dry place. I’ll look into this.
Thanks for checking.
Decades ago, when I worked in biotech, we would store HCG standards long-term for a diagnostic test kit we manufactured. It was pure HCG, calibrated for a given strength by the WHO.
I always thought we stored it at 0 F, similar to a household freezer. I could be wrong, which is why I ask.
All my peptides are in the freezer now. I bring them to the fridge for a day or more prior to reconstituting, then keep refrigerated.

Thanks JC...always appreciate your help.

I've held peptide raws for extremely long periods before hitting them with bac water. Worst case, it MIGHT lose a litle potency. I wouldn' t worry too much until it's reconstituted. Then you are more so "on the clock".

I believe there has been always way too much thought process in this. Just keep it simple. Store raw or reconstituted in fridge. YOiu can never go wrong with putting anything in the fridge

That’s exactly where I store mine, next to the butter!

When i go to pharma companies and look at their web sites for their recommendations freezer tends not to be what they suggest. Seems their can be more condensation from the temp changes in a freezer some times when the door is open and the warmer moist are enters.

I have most of my stuff in a ice chest in my closet as there is little temp change there and it is dark. Been doing that for about 20 years.

A cool, dry place, dark place. I leave them in the box in the back cabinet

Unconstituded, keep it dry and cool. Freezing is perfect. Fridge is fine. Room temp, I’d avoid except for short periods. It’s just too expensive to not toss in cooler, it’s not like it takes much space.

Ahh the old fridge, freeze, or pantry debate. Never gets old. Suppliers store them on shelves, labs in lab freezers, and we mostly in fridge or freezer. Temp fluctuations ate the issue for home freezer. Mine have been fine but use them fairly quick and lyphodized. Raws are very finicky. Saw a good argument for fridge with freezer having defrost mode I've just made sure mine are insulated.

We should get a test from supplier, test after receiving, and test after a month or two of freezer/fridge/pantry. That's a whole load of money though

Are peptides different than hgh? I've heard people say freeze hgh that you're not using.

Usually says on the box. Some say store out of direct light at room temperature but I’ve had others that say refrigerate
