Source Exit Scams Warning Signs

I have been in the game for a while and seen a number of sources come and go. Totally blown away by what happened to SB Labs. It’s not often a source with stellar reviews and top rate products exits the way they did. Normally you see signs of an exit scam. Slow shipping, missing products upon delivery, poor communication, are all signs a source is in trouble. What are some other signs you have seen that a source is on the verge of shutting down? Let’s lean into our community’s experience and maybe we can learn from each other so others don’t get scammed out of their hard earned cash.

Basically when a source starts doing anything out of their normal routine. Having excessive sales when they normally don’t. Being very active on site when normally quiet or the other way around. Kinda like a cheating gf/bf…habits suddenly change..routines change…something is up. I know this doesn’t fit SB…but over the years it has fit a few

That wouldn't account for him still taking money from people though. Not sure if we'll ever know the full story but my gut tells me it's not that. It's possible dude got arrested and his wife or someone else close to him is keeping the grift going trying to raise funds for legal bills, but the feds would have seized the email address too, there's no way they were watching him close enough to raid his operation without knowing about the email he's been doing 99% of his retail business from for the last 5+ years. Again, who's to say what actually happened but my gut tells me dude is hightailing it to Bali right about now.

He communicated to his reps that something happened and they didnt believe him and he made false promises about refunds. You cant do that from a fucking jail cell. 4 ppl go down from the same state the same dsy this happened. Obviously it was his shipper or supplier, or someone involved and he spooked. Like anybody would. Just how I see it..I agree...Bali

Id ask for proof any of these wallets match one a member sent to but itd be stupid to ask anyone to provide proof on an open forum. Certain details about this make me doubt he himself was arrested. But i honestly dont know...i could be wrong of course.

we dont know what happened but it definitely wasn’t planned sb himself was in my dm’s the week before asking how the current batch of oils and orals are cause i was running them and he wanted updates

I made a similar reply in that SB labs thread and shared that since I got back from Afghanistan in 2010 and made my first online purchase that every single favorite vendor of mine have all done the same exit scam/rug pull SB did. I only come back to the forums when I have to find a new man but I was on really good terms with some of the vendors and would get freebies/goodies all the time but that never mattered when they decide they want to dip out. The signs are out there and why I held out on making my last order. Slow shipping, missed tracking numbers, poor communication and big time sales are some of what I’ve seen. Hopefully some of the packs did get sent out and will arrive because I’ve had that happen before with srx labs if anyone remembers them from years ago. It’s a shitty learning experience all around.
