I won one and it definetly produces alot less smoke than a traditional fire pit. Not sure I would spend $300 on one though if I hadn't of won it.

You really wanna save the planet?

Get two 55 gal metal drums and build a homemade incinerator out of it. Cut a stock catalytic converter from your neighbors car or truck and use it as an exhaust on your incinerator. Now hook it up so as you incinerate your garbage/enemies you can now convert that energy to heat your homes or power a generator.

Also you can make s’mores on the top or sides of the 55 gal drums.

I will try to take a few pictures of my fire pit later. I built a wood burning pit that is very close to smokeless.

The trick is getting the ventilation right. You want the wood to burn hot and clean. A series of calculated intake vents at the bottom creates a vacuum that pulls air in from the lower sides. You are technically building a wood powered jet engine.

I have one they are nice. The one I have puts off a lot of heat, and no smoke. I like traditional fire pits with wood but my kids hate it and don’t like the smoke in their face or smelling like smoke. So I think it’s well worth the money IMO.

what type/ brand did you get, same here I live to sit by the fire but we dont like the smoke in the face

Breeo x series I believe. It’s really nice and the kids will actually sit by it. The cold weather is coming it gets used constantly
