Sleep hacks that work: unlock your growth potential

Melatonin is my goto. 10mg a night. It puts me to sleep pretty consistently but I still wake up -just for a few seconds- multiple times a night.
I can only day dream about a full uninterrupted night of sleep.

My go to is THC gummies or smoke a joint. I get to sleep, no dreams etc. I get a solid 6 hours but I think it's not "quality" sleep. I think I'm going to try the zinc/magnesium method you mentioned

Great thread. Here I am reading it at 2am. Been asleep for 3 hours. This has been my nightly routine for years. Melatonin and many other things don’t work. Gotta go see my doc. Phenibut sounds interesting.

I bought a huge bottle of magnesium 400mg and that pill would tear up my stomach. I would wake up with my stomach boiling and fighting to not puke. I took it 3 times, maybe it was the brand or too high of a dose. I believe I have an iron gut otherwise.

Was it Magnesium Glycinate ? I take 420 mg a night, no gut issues.

Best to avoid phenibut, imo. Leaves me hungover and can be habit forming if used often. It was a nasty drug when I used it. Be careful if you do try it

You probably used citrate or oxide. Get glycinate if you want it for relaxation. I use a liquid magnesium from trace minerals or NOW when trace isn't available. Definitely helps my sleep without much issue with my stomach.

Yes, it's magnesium oxide. I'll try glycinate, thank you.

I really like Phenibut at lower doses. 500-800mg if during the day, 800-1500mg if evening/night. 1-2x a week max though. Gotta know what you can take and how frequently. Getting hooked on something will not make your life easier.

Phenibut will work, but in my experiences you can’t use it more than 1-2 nights in a row, without a few day washout period.

My current sleep supps are L-Theanine, Mag Gluc, Ashwaganda and a most nights I swallow those down with a nice hot double steeped cup of sleepy time tea. It's the only night time stack that has ever worked for me for 5.5 hours of sleep or more and consistently. Melatonin is very hit or miss for me sometimes it seems to help sometimes it seems to keep me up so I mostly don't mess with anymore, unless on the T Ren. The biggest "game changer" for this stack that took it home and has had it working consistenly is Ashwaganda. Don't sleep on it...well actually, do!

You just convinced me on the phenibut. I do take magnesium malate but more for my heart health than sleep. I’m also diabetic and the malate is recommended for that. It does nothing for my sleep. I tried gummies and just woke up high 4 hours later. Not for me.
