Hey guys. I’ve been taking test for a couple years now but I’ve always just done my glutes and quads. Last Sunday I decided to try my shoulders and it formed a lump. It got worse as the week went on and now it’s 7 days later and it’s formed a massive lump that’s red and it’s so painful to move my arm. I trained through it all week so that probably didn’t help. The lump’s spread down my bicep and I’m not sure what to do. I used a 27g 1/2 needle so maybe I didn’t go deep enough. Anyways any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

It looks more like you did your bicep or are the pics just off?

It can drop down like that. I’ve had it happen with some spicy Tren Ace. Never got red but knotted for a few days then dropped as yours did. Do you have a fever is the skin warm or hot to the touch? Those would indicate likelihood of infection which requires medical attention. I’ve had a few scares but I keep antibiotics and Z-packs on hand if/when I need it.

Have had the exact same thing brother. Thought I pinned medial delt. Maybe 1.5-2days later a ton of redness and swelling down by brachialis and bicep. By around 3 days my entire bicep was incredibly red and inflamed. This was good gear too. At that point I began to panic about an infection even though I had none of the other symptoms (fever, malaise, weakness etc.). I have access to a very good sports medicine clinic near me. Went in with my entire arm bicep swollen about 2 inches and cherry tomato red and the doctor pretty much laughed. Had seen a bad shot into the shoulder that seeps into the biceps a dozen times I guess. Said he didn't want to put the medical history on my record so instead he'd write cellulitis. Took a bunch of pictures and felt the knot in my shoulder. Said in 5 days if it isn't better or if you feel real infection symptoms come back, but sure enough within a week it cleared.

None of this is to say it's not serious, if you have access to a doctor go see one, but it sounds very familiar.

Thanks that’s actually really helpful. Put my mind at peace I was pretty worried. Did you keep training through it when it was swollen or did you rest it?

Trained through it. my other thought at the time was that I might have torn something, but if you have lost no strength or movement in the biceps that's a good sign too

Nah I pinned my shoulder but I have no idea why it spread down there

Its because you didnt inject deep enough into the muscle... it ran down under the skin and you MAY have cellulitis. If you have a skin marker, trace around the red "welt" and check it again in 24 hrs... if the redness moves outside the skin marker... your going to need antibiotics for cellulitis.
BUT the body is also resilient and may pass on its own.

Don't get pissed but you have too much BF to pin with a 1/2"
I'm saying that with love and wisdom.

As always, contact your Dr if you have fever, chills and any signs of an infection.

I think we have ALL been there man!
