Hello everyone.

Been running cycles for about three years now and it recently crossed my mind that I have never once visited an optometrist.

Started doing some reading and apparently certain compounds, particularly high dose orals and even elevated blood pressure from heavier cycles, can put stress on the eyes and even affect vision over time.

I train hard, blood pressure runs a bit elevated during blasts, and I spend hours watching training videos on screens.

Has anyone here made regular optometrist visits part of their overall health monitoring routine alongside bloodwork? Curious what the experienced guys think.

thanks in advance for any help

It's well worth it getting your eyes checked every year as vision changes as you get older. I for one started wearing eyeglasses fulltime last year as my close vision deteriorated a good bit over the last 10 years.

As of now, I say yes. I have high eye pressure and I'm at risk for glaucoma. Over the last year I've been playing with my levels of GH and found that even when I'm taking my eye drops for the eye pressure, which is latonoprost, GH will raise my eye pressure back to what it was before I started taking the drops. I've done several eye test with my eye surgery and it seems to be true. Even taking one IU will put my pressure in the mid 20s and I did two IU they put it in the high twenties. Where before I started taking GH the eye drops put my pressure back to 17 and 18. My doctor just recently put me on a second eye drop to see if that will lower it back to normal then I have to decide if I want to take a little GH and see if the two eye drops keep my pressure normal or just give it up entirely and not risk glaucoma. But it seems GH can raise eye pressure so I think we should probably get it checked at least once in awhile especially if you're running high IUs of GH.
