I’m having trouble deciding which one has less of a chance getting bad side affects.
embarrassing to admit but I have gained weight since the pandemic and need to drop about 40 pounds to get back to my normal weight.
I was always into fitness then got into bad habits during the dark days.
Anyway I know one is way cheaper than the other but which one carries less of a chance in getting side affects? Not worried about nausea, and such as that seems common. I’m more or less taking about side affects that would keep you from being able to work out, go to work, etc.
Also for either one what are we finding the best dose to be?
If 0.5mg of Semaglutide is very affective and just as good as 2.5mg Tirzepatide then it would be a no brainer to go with Semaglutide since it would be about 300% cheaper through out a 6 month run. Right? Finally how is the quality of Genlabs from yourmuscleshop? They seem to have very reasonable prices.
Hoping some folks currently using these items for weight loss chimes in or some reps that have good feedback from customers.
Thanks everyone. Trying to get my body back has sucked lol.

Tirz definitely better on sides. And at 2.5 keeps working week after week for me. No need to go up. Fight to get protein and fat targets. I’m only 5’10 180 though.

If you only gained 40 lbs you do not need insulin. PERIOD
I’m now pre diabetic and at my height I’m considered on the high side of Obese. I gained 40 but truly need to lose 70 pounds.
My Doctor has suggested either of these.

ive been on both, semaglutide was a game changer but i eventually was on it for too long, kept needing more and more. I took a break then ran tirzepitide. Tirz to me is a better protocol because it hits two different areas to combat hunger.

Did Semaglutide help with hunger? Did you start at 0.25mg dose?

yes. start lowest dose. if you feel zero hunger reduction after your first two doses (once a week), then go up to .50. You should be able to stay at a starting or very low dose for months if you are lucky. Warning though, as Iv'e watch my girlfriend go thru this struggle - you have to be serious about a diet change. This shit will make you not want to eat, slow your digestion, etc, but 1 - you need to eat a healthy diet or you'll just get skinny fat and 2 - you can eat thru these meds, and as in my gf's scenario, without a clear goal or target, your just taking a shot and getting side effects for no benefit.

i've finally got her talking about her own hormone optimization.

tirz you can eat through, sema for me if i overate was hospital trip worthy.

absolute agony.

they both helped me retrain visually my portions, i dont rely on t hem at all anymore.

although i was a food addict, so occasionally i feel those thoughts creep back but i have sema / tirz to help keep me on the wagon. pretty rare but once in awhile. small meals + weighing food + macros has pretty much help curb my appetite.

yes you need a lifestyle change or you'll wind up back where you started.

WOW! sounds intense

Tirz def better but it’s only ever sold UGL in 5mg vials. 2.5mg is the starting dose, it would cost a small fortune to actually ramp it up, makes no sense.

15mg a week of tirz is their top dose. My insurance won’t cover any weight loss, and Ozempic will only get approved for diabetes. Sema didn’t work for me anyway like literally did nothing but my friend lost 40lbs.

I’ve tried Ozempic, and 2 sponsors Sema and none of them did anything. No point in buying 5mg of tirz

I've purchased larger quantities of Tirz, one vendor was 30mg......I think i have 10mg in the fridge right now from Inno. Yep 10mg/bottle 10 bottles in a kit.

You will freak out. It’s like certain foods, Greek yogurt for me feel like I have to wage war. I’m a guy who can knock out a large pizza. Now I can’t eat half a frozen thin crust. It is freaky. Fight to hit protein and fat goals daily.

phentermine is another crazy one, taking that - i could probably just not eat, but the minute i stopped using it i gained weight awhile back. sema and tirz have helped change my eating habits overall so I don't eat to solve my mental problems anymore, well mostly...committing to a new way of taking care of myself is the key.

All GLP-1s have major sides brother.

As someone who has researched peptides and gear obsessively for reports on how what substance and at what dose did for each person, the main thing I have found is each person reacts much different on each substance and dose, there is no one size dose or med for each person. 100 people the same thing and the same dose, the results and sides will all be different. There are no if you take this at this dose it will 100% do this. And if you research problems you will for the most part find the person was taking way too high of a dose or taking it too often, if 1 dose works well 1 time a week, it must work better at 1.25 doses every 5 days. Same with gear. Look at all the giants who pass early, it’s because they are taking 5 peoples worth of gear. All that said, sema worked great for me. Started .25 and did for a month. Went to .50 for a month. .75; for a month and now on 1 per week. Lost close to 50 lbs in 5 months or so. Changed my diet and take Trt as well. Tirz and reta look promising for what they do different than sema. There is a redditt thread comparing the big 3 weight loss shots that is eye opening if you google it, you sill find it, great write up and description of how the 3 drugs work and what each does different, it’s a life changing drug that 3-5 years from now will have done as good as any med for overall worldwide health as any drug ever made . That’s a powerful statement but it’s changing lives and making millions who are obese, healthy again

Thanks for all the feedback guys.
I ordered Tirzepatide from Inno. I plan to run it at 2.5mg weekly and not change the dose until it isn’t effective anymore. I noticed a lot of protocols raise the dose pretty quickly but lots of people say that 5mg worked for them so well, they didn’t need to increase it there for sides were very minimal.
So I’m thinking only raise the dose when really needed.

Perfect. It’s up to you how to run it. 8 weeks 20 pounds and I’ve never done more than 2.5 and for playing around did 2. 1.25, 1 and .625 during the trial run. It all worked.

Thats insane to me people even need to run up to 2.5mg weekly. .25mg is effective on myself and most of my clients. If theyre REALLY stubborn the most ive ever had someone run is .50mg weekly.

Do you not notice the appetite suppressing on lower dosages?

Some people get zero suppression until max dose.

But he's talking about tirz not sema.

Tirzepatide starting dose is 2.5mg

That’s the results I’m hoping for.
Would love to keep it at 2.5mg the whole time. I need to lose 40 pounds though and might have to eventually go to 5mg.
I’m hoping that’s as high as I’ll need. Most people say they start seeing unwanted sides at around the 7.5mg range and it only gets worse from there.

too much of anything will cause side effects. Lowest dosage that yields results brother. Work harder on the diet
