Their “son” was a drug addict, rehab drop out that Riener had ostracized. Reiner made the movie “Being Charlie” about this. Reiner later stated that he felt responsible pushing his son into homelessness because of the addiction. He felt he listened to doctors more than he listened to his son.

And I was asking that question because I read it and if true, I’m sure pumping someone mentality un stable full of female hormones would have nothing to do with him losing it and slitting his parents throats…..

But again, I can’t find any truth to what I read so I was asking to see if anybody has had saw/read that.

I understand your dad’s respect for them completely. They were the inspiration to a lot of immigrant Americans, they represented something to them. Irish family succeeding in the US.

I used to think that until we started televising double taps on unarmed boats. And before folks go off on a tangent, it’s just an observation on how things that the CIA used to do in secret, are being done by others in the govt now, in the wide open.

If he was killed to silence him, who would benefit from that most?Who’s being protected? Clinton? Does he control the CIA now?

I can see a motive for this but I think if it’s true, the finger points to the very top.

My guess is it was his son and his son was unstable and probably on several different psych meds for many years. I know people personally, including family members, that have been on psych meds for 7-10 years and are really not right, worse than before the drugs, and in my observation it's the drugs. I think it's tragic no matter who it was and how it happened.

Mostly probably maybe true. It sucks though. I know good parents that end up with a child with serious mental issues.
