Ive gone through multiple topics here, guides and tips on pinning vg.
Im just not feeling it. Even doing the sitting down and grabbing the meat. Doing a lateral leg raise, and im not feeling it. Ive watched videos, people doing it different places, i ended up in a place where my girl wanted to pin right above the gluten and im like no way. Is it normal? Or am i being a little b. Btw im not completely cut down. So difficult to see the marks

I know VG is highly favorable but it’s far from my favorite. I pin my quads (thigh per @Halfi link provided). I also like to use a fresh needle to pin with, I don’t really get down with using the draw needle as my pin needle.

Draw with 25g

Swap to 27g then pin.

Same I use different tips to pin with. Quads are also my fav spot to pin. I pin every day though so I rotate between quad glute and delt

Im a newbie and started pinning for the first time on Friday and today was my second time. Took me 10 mins to calm down and finally do it on Friday, once I did, I was like what was all that about. Today, took me 30 seconds to go for it. This was in my quads. Know exactly how you felt with watching videos and reading where to do it what to expect. Everyone is different, but if you can and once you do it, you should be fine :)
I dont fear the needle. I fear putting in the wrong spot lmao

In the middle of my first cycle. Was terrified which is probably I didn’t do it for so long. Anyways started in the glute which was hit or miss. Definitely made some mistakes. The best so far and would recommend for the first time is the delt.
 
I started with the glutes it was the easiest. Back then there were no books and no internet, no cell phones. It was fuck it! Looks like a good spot! You would just shove the dart in your ass and take it like a man. Never did I think the internet would change the world and make things easier and so accessible.

Man I was the same way.. my wife is a nurse so she would pin for me. I even told her to stop with the “1,2,3 poke” 🤣🤣 sometimes I got tired of waiting for her to get home from work and said fuck it, I’ll do it myself.. now I pin myself all the time. I even watch 🤣 it use to make my skin crawl thinking of poking myself. Now it doesn’t even bother me.
 
Ventroglute seems to be one of the best spots to pin, think I tried it once and fucked it up lol wife pins me in the glutes (I have a hard time reaching) she’ll pin me in the delts and lats if she’s around as well. If not I’ll pin myself in delts lats pecs no problem, glutes I’ll do it, but again I struggle.

Does the body respond different pinning elsewhere. Like will you see more growth in the delt if you pin there or does it have the same effect pinning vg or other places
 
Don't matter where you pin 20 years my ass ain't got much bigger! You might notice a little swelling where you pin that's about it. When I started it was slap the old ass cheek and ram it in. Now shoulder ass quad nice slow controlled motion, try not to tense up. Good luck it nothing like your mind is making it out to be
 
I'm just figuring this stuff out myself, and I've definitely botched the majority of my pins by moving the angle of the needle and such. But it's not really that big of a deal. You'll know if you hit a nerve and you can test to see if it's in a blood vessel. There's no huge risk to trying the glutes or quads, since they're huge and tough to miss. Just remember to be clean. Dude you just got to do it. My buddy would pin me the first few times who got me in this addiction that I love, and one day he handed me the pin and said that he wasn't doing anymore. I must have stared at that thing for 5 minutes and then bam I did it and felt how silly I was for being so nervous.

It might work if you are lean. My buddy used 1” and that’s what I used but mine wasn’t deep enough. Got a lump and redness. Waited it out for a week and it got better. After some research 1.5” worked better for me.

Well i think my bf is 14 so im not super lean, ill find out in a couple of weeks i hope
 
I use 1 inch for everything. Last time I ordered I got 1.5 and I would put them all the way in for glutes, lats, and quads, and just stick them in about an inch for delts and everywhere else.

Depending on the BAC content, your delts can end up in so much discomfort that you can't do any reps - which kinda defeats the purpose. I know many are thinking, "Man-up pussy!" but I really don't like pain. Pain is overrated. ... And if you hit a nerve in your thigh, it feels like getting tased!

Now that I'm on my own version of TRT, I've been using .5 27ga pins sub-q. You still get some knotted swelling and burn at the injection point, but not nearly as bad as the lingering muscle pain. The last time I was on the forums, sub-q was just starting to become mainstream.

If you squirting 3CC's of juice, then obviously sub-q isn't a good option, but I'm curious if any others have gone sub-q for test ... and at what volume?

Sub Cue is the only thing I do. 27g 1/2 inch slin pin. Trouble with that when I'm cycling, am now, was injecting 0.8ml EOD. Fair amount of pip. So I broke that down into 2X 0.4ml pins. That has alleviated 95% of the pip issue. In my quads - no problem. The 1/2 inch makes it into the muscle. Not so much in the glutes. I rotate spots between quads & glutes so I'm not back in the general area for a pin 1X every 8 days which usually is enough time for any pip recovery that may happen
