Need to lower test before blood work!

Hey guys, my trt clinic wants some bloodwork done here soon and I just wrapped up my cycle. Was 20 weeks, var, little bit of tren, but most importantly my test dose was 600-750mg test c weekly split into three injections m/w/f.
How quickly can I lower my total test before bloodwork? Should I skip my next few pins? Wouldn’t that put a decent dent in my total? At trough my levels were like 3000+ so I was thinking I would wait a few weeks to schedule bloodwork and either completely skip my pins or just pin at my normal cruise dose of 200-250mg weekly split m/t.

Stop injecting for a few weeks (usually 5) and/or donate blood...drains what's in your system and produces new, "clean" blood.

I just need to drop down to like 1200-1500 test and I’m fine. I just can’t go in there with an obvious blast level. You think I really need to skip 5 weeks worth of pins?

1200-1500 is generally not in the range of a TRT.
In any case, no one can tell you with certainty where your level is without doing a bloodwork, so either go the week before going to the clinic and do a private bloodwork to see if you can safely go to the clinic the following week, or, if you're religious, you can pray.

The 5 weeks are generally 5x the average active lifespan of whatever you're taking. In the case of testosterone enanthate or cypionate, in 5 weeks it should leave your body at 90%.

Cyp 1/2 life is like 6-8 days

So if you need to get into the 1,000 range I’d guess anywhere from 3-4 weeks.. 4 to be safe

Be conservative on when to pull as drug half-lives are largely dependent on the individual. Some clear Cyp fairly quickly while others don't.

Typically for me if I am going in for blood work, I stop injecting for two weeks. Numbers come in around 550 range. I am sure this will vary from person to person.

I use Steroid Planner for stuff like this and it's usually pretty decent.

You probably need to get to a concentration level around 20



If you're at 750 MWF, and you just stop, your levels should go from 85 on day 82 down to 20 in about 12 days. So if you go cold turkey for 2 weeks you should be fine. This has worked for me in the past

Thanks for all the replies guys. I set my appointment for may 6th. Gonna skip all my pins till then. Should be solid. If not I’ll do my best to BS but they seem to be pretty chill about most things at this clinic. I just wanted to avoid having to explain my results as best as possible. Wish me luck haha.

Good read as I'm due for "va" blood work and it's dumb cause they put me on 100 and I'm doing 200 cruise so will have to also adjust kinda dumb. Lucky I just got a deal and have 60ml test I'm so I'm good for awhile. Will probably order more

Right on, I could drop them tomorrow and be fine, I’ve got enough test stashed away to keep me good for a few years. I just like keeping the script, maybe eventually I’ll decide to stop giving them money lol.

From what my friend chatgpt told me lol as long as I drop back to my prescribed trt dose a month before hand things should be fine without tanking your t levels or needing a pct not sure if that's accurate but if you're on trt medically you could stay on but drop your dose back to normal recommendations I think.

Yea that's what I do but I also plan to donate blood a month before and it helps everything. It's good to do anyways.

you know what, I didn’t feel like skipping pins so I reached out to the owner of my clinic and he’s on board with me blasting lol. Even offered to monitor bloodwork and make suggestions for my future cycles. My labs are cheaper through them than PrivateMDLabs so this is big. Getting bloodwork Wednesday!

I’ve been playing this same game lately. My clinic is not a problem as I wasn’t blasting or anything just a little NPP and Var that had to run its way out first and get things back in order for labs. Those were Yesterday morning then I had an appointment right after with my new Endocrinologist the VA sent me to see finally.. In the end the Endocrinologist scripted me 200mg/wk to match my Clinic pending blood tests of course but I was on 180mg.. so we’ll see what the labs say. Only problem is she wants me back for follow up labs in 2 months. Had no idea what was up or down with trt.. tried to script me 125mg 1x a week and I was like no and my protocol is 3x a week and explained why then showed her my private labs I took 4 weeks into trt but she was lost completely yet causious but said ok lets do that then I get home and check the script online and she prescribes 200mg 3/wk lmao. I don’t even know what to do right now..haha

She knew nothing but what the American endocrinology association wrote in thier book she mentioned it 4xs.. At least you talked to somebody with some sense.. I’m very happy. I found this forum and this is just another example of that.. helps be informed
