Mots C Experiences

SB Labs
Tried 1mg daily. It made my skin super sensitive to the point where it hurt. Like just clothes sent jolts of lightening through me. I feel like diet and exercise (and being lean) is all you really need for mitochondrial health to be honest.

Clen on the other hand. Love that!

Trying ss31 for the first time as I heard from a vigorous Steve episode that it could help restore low progesterone/pregnenalone levels, planning to do 1mg a day. Never as a good endurance runner/athlete, so maybe I’ll notice a difference

45 year old here. Been taking MOTS at 2mg/day for about a month, with SS-31 at 4-5mg/day for the last 3 weeks. I added NAD+ today to see how that stacks with it.

For me, the MOTS by itself gave me a noticeable increase in stamina when lifting weights. I was able to get an extra set or an extra rep on a set pretty solidly across the board. When doing cardio (LISS, treadmill incline 130-140BPB) i was able to just go longer without feeling like i was ready to stop.

That said, the effects do become less over time as far as my "feel" of it. I still feel it, for sure, just not as intense as the first week or so. Probably just getting used to the new energy level.

I completely halted my daily caffeine intake alongside this stack too. Previously, i'd drink 2-3 cups black coffee in the morning, then 1-2 energy drinks throughout the day (alani 200mg caffeine). Now i might have a half cup in the morning for the taste and habit, but i usually don't finish it and it gets cold. I can also attribute a little bit of the caffeine reduction to reta, which i have been taking for a little bit too, at ~4.5mg/week.

As far as the NAD+ goes, took that today for the first time. 50mg. I do feel a bit more energized than i typically do, so there is a noticeable increase in energy from that too. Haven't had a chance to work out on it yet. Will know that part tomorrow.

As far as ISR and PIP, definitely worth mentioning. SS31 is totally fine, no issues whatsoever. The MOTS on the other hand gives me a little bee sting histamine reaction probably every 2-3 pins. Not really bad, but it has motivated me to pin glutes rather than belly just due to less sensitivity when i get a reaction. The NAD was a little spicy as i injected but no ISR, so so far so good. I reconned that one pretty strong too, at 200mg/mL. I did not want to inject more than 0.5cc when i titrate up to the 100mg dose (started at 50mg today)

I’m curious, are you cutting right now? I feel like a lot of people I’ve come across just browsing other forms tend to be in a pretty severe cut when they talk about the benefits. I think I’ve seen one guy running it while bulking and said that it did nothing for him so I wonder if the benefits have to do with caloric restrictions affect affecting the bodies energy production

I tried both NAD+ and NMN, and get better energy from NMN.

In contest prep rn, my mitochondria/energy stack is as follows:

  • NMN
  • SLU
  • Ubiquinol
  • Rauwolscine
  • Ephedrine
  • Methylene Blue

I don’t take everything every single day. For example, NMN is daily. Ephedrine eod. Methylene blue 3x a week.

In comparison to prior cuts, mitochondria products shine is in 2 areas:

- Cognitive workload/capacity when in a deep deficit. Typically in a deep deficit, I have a few good hours cognitively per day. With these products, I have consistent mental acuity throughout the day/week regardless to the training.

- Rate of energy recovery in a deficit. For example, I can do an hour of fasted cardio in the morning, take a nap and wake up feeling brand new. Whereas without these products, it’s hit or miss; one hard workout can take you out for the day. So you have more flexibility in terms of how intensely you train; don’t have to hold back as much.

It’s not a stimulant type of energy, it just something happens in the background and you have more energy, acuity etc than you normally would given the circumstances.
