Recently had a urinalysis and in everything I can find, I have nothing to worry about unless there was specific reasons to tests for steroids. I'm still wanting a little insight if anyone has any. Put my mind at ease please....thanks.

They never tested me or anyone else that I knew of during my short time in . I do have friends active and recently retired that look like they obviously juice and they have not been tested .

So if I do understand it correctly, the standard UA does not test for steriod substances.

It does not.

They can specifically test for AAS if they have reason to believe so. So watch yourself. Someone jealous of your physique can report you and that alone can get you tested. Happened to a buddy of mine and he was discharged once testing positive.

But yeah man, standard Military, employment, probation and parole are all testing for the standard 8 compounds.

Thanks everyone...I guess I just wanted to hear it and have a little reassurance.

Well it's been over 2 months now. If you popped hot, you would have definitely heard about it by now. Not that you would pop hot, since they don't test for it.

Any update? :)

Yep, popped hot...getting chaptered out.....

Nah, just fuckin with ya. Had 2 UAs during this cycle. 1 when I was running Test E and 2nd UA I was running Test/NPP/Mast P. All is well.

In currently, you have nothing to worry about. If people get legitametly suspicious tell them you're bulking, you can wear hoodies and baggy clothing to prevent people from noticing. and they'll have to blood test you to detect anything, so unless you're going to the doc for bloodwork you should be straight. IMO.

They would be allowed to blood test you for aas?

It's circumstantial. If you're going to get blood work done for a random appointment and they see your test is through the roof they'll know something is up.

Allowed to? They own you lol. They can do whatever they damn well please and you have approximately zero say in the matter. That's just how it is

Last I was in the military, about 8 yrs ago, was in 8 yrs as well and "on" for most of the time.. the random drug tests didn't catch anything as far as I knew. Several officers and a few higher enlisted knew as well.. if they wanted to test u, I guess they could.

Maybe if ur Ronnie Coleman status, theyd prob be suspicious

Just to put most of this to bed, I read into the regs.

No, the standard military UA does not test for PEDs, it is far to expensive. The standard drug test panel costs roughly $7 per specimen. Testing for PEDs is something like $200-$400 per specimen. Here is a sample brief required to be given prior to any UA:

"Every specimen collected will be tested for Marijuana (THC), Cocaine, Amphetamines (which includes methamphetamines, MDMA (ecstasy), MDA, and MDEA), heroin, and from one to four other drugs. The additional drug(s) will be chosen on a rotational basis from a group that includes Opiates (which includes morphine and codeine), PCP, Oxycodone/Oxymorphone (known commonly as OxyContin), and Hydrocodone/Hydromorphone."

Yes, it can be requested by the Commander to test for PEDs if there is probable cause. However, probable cause cannot just be "because he looks like he is on steriods." That would single people out. There has to be a solid justification that would hold up legally.

The metabolites of steroids can be tested for in urine but it has to be shipped to specific testing facilities with the capability with written approval prior to the testing by the Commander.

Hope that helps clarify. In the past decade, very few service members have tested positive for PEDs due to minimal testing even though we know plenty do use them. Most who were caught, did something stupid to put themselves in the spotlight to get tested.

Just tell anybody that might get suspicious you eat like a beast and lift big, take creatine, PWO, and protein shakes. That's half the game anyways....lol

Hell, don't we want a bunch of jacked, high Testerone service members ready to fuck up the enemy anyways? I don't know about you but I take the little edge and advantage when it's war time.
