Have any of you gone through it? Is it even real? Am I going through it right now? Have I had multiple mid life crisis throughout my life?

What the fuck is my problem?

But seriously did any of you guys go through a mid life crisis? And if so, what happened? How bad did you fuck your life up?
 
Absolutely yes, mate! I'll be 40 in a few months and I know the feeling well! It's up and down. Besides, it has nothing to do with age; it can happen earlier or much later. For me, it was that my drive disappeared. My job is going well, promotion, career, money... everything is good. Family... everything is good. I'm strong, healthy, fit, muscular, and get lots of compliments. But I'm not satisfied with myself, so what does a MAN try then?

Yes, at first I wanted to buy a Porsche, but then I realized that it wouldn't make me happy. I no longer had the desire or energy for parties and late nights. I still wake up in the morning and don't know what to do with myself.

One question: Are you dissatisfied with any aspect of your life? Your job? Your training? Sex? Friends?

I often reflect on myself and realize that I should be satisfied. It is and remains a struggle with oneself.

No mid life crisis Corvette or super lifted truck for me... I think it's spurred by overall boredom with life. The general malaise with life looking for something that adds excitement or temporary joy. Hence usual purchases you wouldn't make normally.. I'm sure everyone will go through a period of time where this happens but the extent is person specific.
 
I guess I might have had a midlife crisis, in 2008 I got a strong urge to get a motorcycle again, it had been 20 years since I last rode, I was 52 .rode it every day for 10 years since I live in Fl.
 
Haha, I feel you man. The struggle is real, questioning everything! Maybe we all have mini-existential moments?
 
I went through it in my late 30's. Did the whole sport bike motorcycle thing like a douche. lol

Probably going through one right now not your typical type but just wondering if I made the right choices or am a making the right choices.
 
Serial crises - more like serial obsessions lol. Fishing, hunting, flying, triathlon (the douchiest decade ), so many… from when I was a young adult right up to today many decades later. I can never tell if it’s a “midlife crisis” dissatisfaction with the daily that gets me going or just a new interest, but if you plugged almost any of the shit I’ve done (personal or professional) into my early 40’s, it would fit the bill.

at least we didnt join crossfit and become "hybrid athletes"
 
In March I was on the phone with my mom. She had a massive stroke. My aunt came out to see her in the hospital. She offered me to move in with her . I left my gf 3 weeks shy of 10 year anniversary. I packed a garbage bag with clothes and Moved 1100 miles away .My family told me to get out . I was left homeless.
That's my midlife crisis.
I worked at a grocery store until I got a job at the hospital . I have my own apartment. I have food in my fridge . Over all my head is above water. It's working out for me .
Sometimes you gamble and you lose , sometimes you gamble and you win . It's about determination.

I don’t know why but I feel like we could be best friends. I’m definitely 16. Still got that kid at heart but also like tits n ass.
