Is anyone here micro dosing any GLP-1s or reta specifically? I recently bought 10mg just to try with an intention to run it for maybe 2-3 months (buying more later), but I'm a bit worried about side effects (especially bloating and delayed gastric emptying leading to "can't digest it" feeling).

I recently read about micro dosing GLP-1s. I'm pre-diabetic (fasted glucose 100-115), but insulin in range, glucose processing in range, glucated hemoglobin at the very edge between normal and prediabetes. I'm also a bit overweight (BMI 31 with visually estimated fat of 37%). I'm cutting currently (but went too fast - eating too little - and messed my stomach recently, so I had to reset.).

I don't have a problem with controlling food cravings or hunger itself, but my metabolism slows down a lot when dieting. So perhaps micro dosing retra would improve my insulin sensitivity as well as speed up the metabolism so I can take full advantage of my calorie deficit.

Has anyone tried micro dosing this stuff (or other GLP-1s ozempic, wygovy, anything else), what are your results?

I actually microdosed my 9 months with it and got all of the benefits I wanted. Zero appetite suppression and was able to even up the dose as I got further through my cut. Granted had a ton of cravings, but I was to the point of just wanting any kind of food even if it was spinach lol. I highly recommend micro dosing if the goal is for benefits without appetite suppression. I would however make my first shot still stronger and then microdose from then on. That will help the levels come up in your body instead of taking weeks to get there.

In most cases I prescribe my guys/girls to microdose them along with pretty much every compound. Peaks and troughs are to be avoided. It seems the leaner you are the more microdosing is effect and vice versa for the more obese.

@Meetketchup, do you follow Dr. Trevor Bachmeyer? What are your thoughts on his podcast’s stance against microdosing, as discussed in the ASF thread linked below? I’ve been taking 0.75 mg three times a week, which has helped with blood glucose management (to some extent), A1c reduction, and lipid marker improvement. After listening to the podcast, I’m wondering if my dosing protocol is limiting additional benefits and whether switching to once-a-week dosing could be more effective.

I have found that it works best for me doing 2 injections a week. Currently I am doing .75mg on Tuesday and Friday. Appetite suppression is still a little too much for my liking but I’m powering through it and getting my meals in.

I’m down 12lbs in 6 weeks. On the flip side, my wife is doing one injection at 1.5mg and is down 18lbs but her eating habits are different than mine and she isn’t lifting.

12lbs may be a little rapid for me in 6 weeks but once I reach my initial goal of 185(currently 193) I will re evaluate

Well, I’m not a doctor so all I can say is what my experience with Reta was. I ran it for 9 weeks, got off to a terrible start,I was all over the place with doses, I started at .5 mg and for me that was a mistake, upped it to fast then finally after a three weeks settled into 3 mg a week, in the 9th week I decided to do a reset and stopped at 6 mg . I’m doing a 6 week reset, read that it takes 30 days for Reta to completely clear the system, I’m not going to micro dose and going to start at 2 mg a week. All that said, in the nine weeks I went from 177 to 161, I’m just trying to maintain right now ,but I weighed myself this morning and I’m 158.

12 lbs. in 6 weeks sounds pretty spot on to me, I like 1-2 lbs. a week. My run with Reta was 1.8 lbs a week average.

I've found it's user preference. If you need that blunt 1-3 days of massive hunger suppression, then dose 1-2x week. I you want to just minimize a bit of hunger with better digestion, then microdose.

You do what works best for you. The body is not a textbook.

And the guy you named has said some pretty nutty things in the past. Dismiss the letters in front of the name and go by the strength of the evidence presented.

Gotta love controversial blanket statements with no context taken into account for social media engagement 😂

You're not sold on his master class to grow your business for the low low cost of $4,997? 🤷‍♂️:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

For what its worth this has been my dosing schedule, a bit arbitrary using a larger dose on followed by a half dose, but I guess the results speak for themselves. Im bumping up to 1 consistent 1mg dose 2x a week now - the next dose being today.

Reading this and wondering if people realize a 1-2 pound loss per week is normal for people not using any drugs and being given a diet they will likely find to be too much food in one day.

I see the advantage of GLPs for appetite control, as this seems to be the biggest hurdle for most people to get over.
But if one develops self-control and discipline, they aren’t necessary in any way. Even that “pre-diabetes” thing goes away in most cases.

I've tried splitting doses and one large dose. One large dose works better for me.

I think people who hope on and all of a sudden go from eating 1000c over the maintenance to a 500 deficit and "lose" 15lbs in 3 weeks (it's food and glycogen) think it is magic or then get frustrated when they "plateau" and are only losing 1-2 a week.

Arguing Self Control and Discipline is similar to telling an addict to just stop drinking. It's not that cut and dry and simple.

As a former addict who stopped cold turkey more than once successfully, I have a hard time sympathizing.
But as I mentioned, I understand the hunger thing is a big hurdle. Bearing in mind that eating isn't always about hunger, whereas being dope sick is a real physiological problem, not in one's mind.
