This is not a "Log" thread that'll be consistently updated, that's why it's posted here. Fitting, because people ofter wonder "what would I look like" if I ate decently and worked hard, and took a little gear. I'm not a professional by any means, barely above novice honestly but I ask alot of questions and follow "good advice" from respected members of this community.
I'm 44 years old, 6'1" and currently 234 pounds. When I began this journey two and half years ago I was fat, depressed, blood pressure, cholesterol, liver values and glucose all sky high. I did not like what I had become. I was 282 pounds and in the worse shape of my life.
I only hit the gym 3, sometimes 4 times a week. I cleaned up my diet and primarily live off of chicken, lean beef and rice. I still eat junk here and there, but its not a regular occurrence. In total I dropped 66 pounds all the way down to 216 pounds. My body fat was at leanest 7%. I stayed at that level for about 4 months and honestly I felt miserable. I was literally forcing myself to "stay lean". Currently, I'm 11 weeks into a 20 week bulk. I'm starting to get excess storage around my lower back and sides so I'm going to pull back on the calories a little. I feel fucking awesome.
I'm not content with where I am, but I'm definitely happy with the progress.
Because I know it'll be asked, I've used 3 sponsors here but have settled in and consistently ran Marathon gear the past 16 months.
