This is mainly a question for 35-55 year olds. I've found that age group experiences this the most.
I'll start with this...if I asked you to name a song from 30 years ago, youll likely think of the 70's. If I ask something about 20 years ago, youll likely think of the 80's.
Its because the starting point for your time frame of reference is 1/1/2000.
Why is that? What happened to us on that day that scrambled our brains?
This also seems to correlate to the Madela Affect where we specifically remember things that they say never existed. For example, they tell us that Darth Vader never said "Luke, I am your Father," Chic-Fil-A was never spelled that way and KitKat never was hyphenated as "Kit-Kat"
Did we jump to a different time loop on Y2K?
