This forum really cracks me up. Nicest people around really....

I normally never comment but Jesus fucking Christ it's just negativity for the most part unless you are posting a touchdown Pic with praise or constantly recommending a source. I've debated making this post for a couple months cause I didn't wanna be disliked here but fuck it, if I dont post cause everyone is such dickheads, whats the point?

This is a prime example of why I never post. Yeah, the guy could just search and read but its a goddamn forum isn't it? Participation should be encouraged, right? Even the most praised sponsors give the guy shit for asking a question. Maybe he wanted feedback from other forum members if the T/A was quick or slow, or if they responded well to the gear or not.

And once one of the chosen ones responds...all the other assholes just pile on because they want the to be cool like them.

If this is just a place for ads, make it that. If it's not, then stop being such a bunch of fucking pricks to people.

I wouldn't be defending this guy. Now he's looking for a couple of vials of GH on the cheap, just like he was looking for a deal on KGears.

He's also the same guy who posted his number in my giveaway thread after the giveaway was already closed and clearly marked as over, trying to weasel his way into scoring a free vial of test.

He's lazy, doesn't read, and comes off entitled. It's a pattern, not a one-off.

I understand what you mean, but I doubt anyone checked his post history before replying that way.

I would have never commented if I haven't seen the same sort of thing many many times in the 6 months or so Ive been hanging around. I wasn't defending that dude specifically. I was pissed off last night and it just kind of hit me the wrong way. Maybe I overreacted but if you are being honest with yourself you know this place can seem very unwelcoming to new people asking questions.

Less than a month ago you posted your TD photo in our giveaway thread. What kind of "legit asshole" gives customers a chance to win free stuff? You seemed pretty happy about it then.

Marathon doesn't need anyone defending him, but he's a friend of mine, so I can't just stay silent.

I understand that forums can get contentious at times. Trust me, you should see some of the ridiculous PMs I get.

You definitely seemed angry last night, let cooler heads usually prevail.

Irony: Someone who acknowledges never posting anything to help other members and tells people to stop being an asshole while completely discrediting the thousands of their messages of guidance and advice that those very same people have given to help members.

The exact same person that lurks in the shadows reading those very messages, posted by those assholes, in order to obtain knowledge for themselves.

Yes of course, me pointing out that one asshole unnecessary comment meant that EVERYTHING else the man has every said and done is moot. It meant he has never helped anyone and this one comment is his entire existence here on the board...really?

As Cypher said, yes I do participate in giveaway posts. Why wouldn't I? I spend money with many of the sponsers here, including Marathon. I've learned quite a bit from members here, including Marathon. However, from my experience in seeing how newer members are sometimes, maybe more often than not, treated- I just don't post questions I have, and there are probably others who agree. Maybe not. But as I said, I was pissed off and it just got to me when I read that. Maybe I am the asshole.

Also, I dont feel I have the knowledge or experience to be offering advice to others, so I don't. There is tons of good advice, knowledgeable, friendly members here. But in my opinion there is also a growing trend of insulting, belittling, and just being unnecessarily rude to people asking questions. Often to new people. Is it always from Marathon? Of course not. Is everything he says like this? Of course not. If you can't understand the jist of what I mean, maybe draw yourself a picture. You are indeed, better at it than me.

No hard feelings to anyone. I said my piece, people can agree or disagree. I will try to be a more active and helpful member if I can.

Then he should have posted it in the "source check" or the "kgears section" of the forum. This is the "AAS information" section not the "kgear information" section. There are rules in place for a reason. If we didn't make these types of posts then dip shits like the op would ruin this place and there would be no order. But for whatever reason you are not quite sharp enough to grasp that. Very noble of you to stand up for him though, but you are the real asshole for doing it. Everyone be nice guys, @Billygoat and @Hurrilanche need their safe space

All you did was make my point for me. Joking about me needing a goddamn safe space and crying about him 'breaking the rules' at the same time. Tell the guy he's posting in the wrong spot and deleting the thread makes more sense to me...
but what do I know? Im just a crybaby who thinks 'respected' members/sponsors being complete dickheads to people does more to ruin things here than this guys stupid post.
